There's always new stuff coming up, humanity keeps growing and bringing new stuff for us to be excited about, but the real fact is that most these people worked hard to get where they are now and they keep working hard to keep it. Once you become rich like them, you probably already have a lot of people working under you, with it also comes the sense of responsibilty. People only get bored when they have nothing to do with their lives.

There's so much hate in the comments for the owners of these closets despite that most of them were first-generation richies. I guess envy is an easier emotion than inspiration.
@littleraskle5 жыл бұрын
Some hate but I think this type of wealth shouldnt even be allowed. Its actually sickening that there are people starving in the world when the 1% live like this. If they even donate what I donate a paycheck (15%) the impact that would have on the world would be astronomical. Its not just me saying this too, billionaires like Bill Gates and Warren Buffet are moving towards this thinking pattern too.
@bigbulk6884 жыл бұрын
@@littleraskle Not many are born with that kinda motivation, or talent. Wealth is the result of that. Its ignoramous to presume that everyone should have one common motivation and that is charity. Had that been the case, the suffering class would have been more charitable. Afterall a lot of people have way more than 3 square meals, clothes on the back and a roof. Let us all donate everything extra to charity.
@littleraskle4 жыл бұрын
@@bigbulk688 Nobody say "everything extra," I specifically said 15% of their income. And yes many people who make average incomes like myself would rather donate then buy countless bags, shoes and houses. Its despicable in my opinion. Nobody NEEDS a billion dollars. And if you can go to sleep at night knowing a kid is starving while you purchase your 10th car then you are a sick individual. Nothing will make me think differently. Donating and volunteering should be a basic thing EVERYONE does, but they don't. Because majority of people are selfish people who would rather just hoard wealth for generations.
@bigbulk6884 жыл бұрын
@@littleraskle Oh my bad. I should've asked what you wanted. Obviously, that's the yardstick now. What Lisa decides. Anyways, let me know how giving 15% of your income is going. I'll wait to hear the charities you are supporting.

@yaniho975 жыл бұрын
Martha Fogelin Are you suggesting communism? Everyone lives the same, consumes the same, has no right to enjoy anything that is mildly excessive materialistically even when it’s as simple as a pair of better quality shoes because the whole country wears $2 slippers. Work hard and earn your money but you’re obligated to share it all with your country. If you’re not ready for communism, face it, you’re probably a capitalist who isn’t successful enough. Just by spending money, they are contributing more to the economy than most of the population. The taxes they pay, the jobs they help create and maintain - the economy will go stale if everyone sits on their cash hidden underneath their mattresses. Plus, they probably have donated more to charity than most people have earned in their entire lives. It’s unfair to assume they’re not giving back to society without being able to prove it. Just keeping a chunk of their wealth for personal joy doesn’t make them selfish people.
