Shout out to Florida for the win, good all around effort. The defense bent at times, but there is a lot of youth and still some injury there. Backs played good, DJ was solid, pass rush was effective especially late, and they got critical stops in the red zone. With DJ playing I feel like Florida can play with anybody. Respect to Mertz, he played hard before his injury, but if a healthy DJ Lagway started from game 1 I think Florida is possibly 9-3. Miami and Texas are the only games I think they would lose for sure, but all the others would be winnable imo. 🤷🏿‍♂️

I was at the Ga/Fla game. I was worried until lagway got hurt. I hated that for him honestly because i wanted a competitive game and not hear any excuses from gator fans....but i felt like they had a chance to upset us this year. Bingo. People just look at Florida’s record and think they suck. In addition to Lagway not even starting until Georgia (outside of the Samford game), injuries have debilitated them. A relatively healthy team with Lagway starting from day 1 is probably 8-3 at worst right now. Ten and Georgia are probably wins instead of losses.

I ADMIT this game was the shocker to me NOT because Florida won the game, but because Florida gave Georgia an excellent game in Jacksonville BUT Ole Miss came up with the victory against Georgia. Are you aware that if 4 more teams possibly lose today and the South Carolina Gamecocks SOMEHOW pull out a win today and next week they could possibly join the CFP bracket as a participant as a SEC BID? DJ wasn’t starting. That’s literally the difference. Although he is young and has a lot to learn, he is already such a big play threat. Mertz is a game manager type, but not going to put you over the top. DJ gives you at least a chance vs almost anybody simply because of what he can do. 🤷🏿‍♂️

A good QB always 'saves' an HC's job. Without a good QB, no HC is gonna have success. Look at Spurrier and Meyer, at Florida. After Wureful and Tebow left, both Spurrier and Meyer had significant drop off in on field results. What Napier has been missing, his entire time at UF, is a Good QB, who's heart is truly in the game. AR's heart was not in the game. Injury prone, and played scared to run, with the most minor of 'getting hurt a bit' during a game. That week 2 loss to UK after AR looked like a future Megastar vs UTAH is a prime example. That, and him missing games the previous season because he 'injured' himself, Dancing. Seriously. Ive never heard of a player missing games because he hurt himself dancing...

Shambles. Just shambles. What’s bad is that they lost to the gators. What makes it worse than just bad, is that they did it by throwing the dumbest 3 consecutive INT you will ever see. One was at a WR with 4 guys covering just him. One was 10 yards beyond the WR and only a miracle saved it from being an actual INT. Turns right around and throws the exact same pass to the exact same DB, on the other side of the field. You have a guy over top, a guy covering man on man, and you expected the receiver to try running by through the guy sittin on top of it on consecutive plays? Geez Dart.
