If you please explain one mm is how much enlarge in vernier why not we avoid this point
@eng.waleedalzaghal53442 жыл бұрын
For vernier with least count 0.02 mm each 1 mm is divided into 50 divisions so 1/50 = 0.02 mm. Is this the point?
@sciencelife32592 жыл бұрын
@@eng.waleedalzaghal5344 no,sir we can't know one thing that one mm is enlarged as 49mm why I want that calculation

Sir if the v.s.reading we count like :0,5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40,45,50 like 50 divisions So the first reading in our practice is =13.48.mm. In the way u r counting v.c.reading is 13.96.mm sir wich one is correct reading ?
@eng.waleedalzaghal53442 жыл бұрын
in case of 50 graduations on the vernier scale we count by the multiple of 0.02 mm so the reading 13.96 mm in the example is correct.

Excellent explanation sir.. the vernier scale readings are scaled by 0.02 mm. If I want to read odd numbers of measurement how to read in this scale? Example I can read 6.0, 6.02, 6.04, 6.06 mm, but how to find 6.05 mm in the same scale.. is it possible..?
@eng.waleedalzaghal53443 жыл бұрын
Thanks. The possible decimal reading part is only the multiples of 0.02mm , so there is no odd readings.

The formula is..reading A×1mm B×0.1mm and C×0.02mm..The total answer A+B+C=answer mm
@eng.waleedalzaghal53443 жыл бұрын
Each graduation on the main scale is 1 mm and on the vernier scale is 0.02 mm, so the total reading is the sum of both. Another way to read the vernier is to count the order of the aligned line and multiply it by 0.02 mm. For example line number 24 on the vernier scale is read as 24x0.02=0.48 mm
