I bought the fake DZ7313 on ebay, broke after a few months. Wanted the real thing. Found on Amazon for $165. I was skeptical, until I received it. Used this wonderful video to make the comparison and I'm happy I received the real thing from Amazon! Yes, for $20 it tells the time and it is fun to wear. You can have a few different styles of cheap huge oversize watches and change them a few times a week. It's not as good as a $500 watch but paying 25x more isn't worth it either.

Good video. Does original watch come with a rubber/silicone gasket? Mine gets condensation so I opened to dry and I don't see any gasket.

These watches are so cheap the gasket costs more than the watch. :-) They are not waterproof so if you want to seal it up perhaps a bit of silicone or vaseline around the seal as you close it may help keep out moisture (or assemble it in a very dry environment). Better yet... there is enough space inside that you can fill it with a small sac of silica gel dessicant, or rice! :-)

They are dirt cheap and there is a market for fakes, so yes, somebody would make it. However, they don't necessarily say Diesel on them (it is often missing on the eBay page photos). Then when it shows up at your door and you open the package, it says Diesel on it. Honestly, I couldn't care less if it said any brand, I just like the look and the absurdly huge size is funny... They could have made a nice watch without having to copy Diesel though.

I wouldn't buy a fake watch because If I were to, I'd buy a fake rolex spend $300 for something that looks realistic and within a few months it will probably stop working, so it's a total waste of money. but this is actually a good purchase because this isn't a watch I'd wear more than 5 times cuz it's ugly as Eff, and would create so much dissonance in any outfit I tried to put together

Yes it is a total waste of money... don't spend $300 on a fake. Maybe $30, but not $300... there are some really good REAL watches for $300 that have quality and will last. Maybe not Rolex but there are great Seiko, Citizen, etc. for that money.

They make pretty good copies these days. Unfortunately my copy was so cheap that it was really simplified, many of the dials were just glued on (didn't actually work) and the strap was cheap and the whole thing just wasn't very functional. Still fun to wear on occasion but that's what $9 gets you! LOL😀

Just look on eBay or Amazon for oversized watches. Something similar to this will pop up. It will usually have the markings blurred out but then when you get the watch they put the fake name all over it. Sad... who cares about the name on an obvious fake?
