In middle school, these 2 guys for some reason stole one of my favorite blue mechanical pencil that is a bit fancy and cool than regular mechanical pencils. The first time they try to take it and stole it, I caught them and they gave it back. But, the 2nd time they managed to steal it. And, I confronted them about it and they were lying and saying they don’t have it. I didn’t want to cause a scene. So, I sigh and was just a bit upset. I brought those from China , and I couldn’t buy them in the US. The next day, I used my other lead pencil. It was a pink and have small flowers pattern on it. The clicker was even in the shape of a heart shaped plastic gem. They managed to steal it too. I can’t believe they will steal a lead pencil like that. The pencil is a bit girly. So, all through out middle school, I just used a the common BIC lead pencil. I only use those fancy pencil at home. Also, I even stop taking out my pencil case and leaving on the table. I didn’t want anyone to ask me to let them borrow a pencil. One time, this guy from my history class in the 6th grade, ask me for a lead pencil and I gave him a wooden one. And, he was sly and ask me to borrow him the BIC lead pencil that I was using. I refused, cuz the last time I let him borrow one of my BIC lead pencil, he didn’t even give it back, he lost it. I was just a bit upset. One of my friends said that: why does some people always ask to borrow pencils? Couldn’t they just buy their own pencils? Why go to school, when he can’t even be prepared and have a pencil? Why do they lose the pencils that the teacher give to them for keep and use? Thank goodness, in high school and college no one rarely steal pencil or asking for pencils.

I didn't realize how weird this was until the video called it out!!😂😂😂😂 I have a pencil holder filled with Bics with missing caps and Dollar store pencils. I put a cheapo pencil attached to the memo/shopping list on the refrigerator, but I write with one of my "nice" pencils or fountain pens. ROTFLMAO

Happened to me too. I had a coworker take my Energel Alloy off my clipboard at the nurse's station. When I saw her with it and asked for it back, she said it was hers.🤬 The next week, she left a Dr. Grip gel on the desk, and I took it. I know it was wrong and not the same quality of pen, but you do not mess with a nurse and her pens!!!

I know the feeling. I can't believe just a couple years ago, all I used to journal was a mechanical pencil and any cheap notebook I could get my hands on. Now I exclusively use fountain pens and only A5 notebooks with fountain pen friendly paper lol.

I can’t keep all of them inked. ...and I can finally understand why people are standing in front of 2,5 meters of wardrobe and say they don’t have anything to wear. ...Because that’s me trying to find inks to ink my pens with. :D

I got a few more. *10) Organization of pens or pen cup holders. I have mine arranged brand rather than color. *11) You search Wayfair, Amazon or Ikea sites hoping to find a desk large enough to hold all your stuff, but know you will never have the space. *12) You go in the supply or stationary section of the store to look around, only to realize you already own most of what you see. *13) You ask for pens or markers for your birthday or Christmas!! *14) Your kids ask to borrow a pen and you select the one you want them to use. You then watch them until they're done in order to make sure they return it. *15) You watched this video and laughed and now don't feel alone in your habit. *16) You went to the JetPens site to look for more supplies after watching this video!!🤣🤣🤣

Other than the ones on the video, i guess other signs would be how you're looking for a good quality notebook rather than your usual cheap notebook. Especially if you're a fountain pen user, you just have to search for a good book so it's pleasant to write with. Even if it costs a lot.

Seconded! Sometimes any old notebook will do, but often it has to be just right, with the right paper and size. Especially with fountain pens!

It's definitely finding a match that works for you. While I do have to use cheap paper, I've found some fountain pen ink and fountain pen combos with my favorite nib sizes that work well for me. If the feel isn't right, then I worry lol. I finally did find a cheap steno book that I can use with fountain pens no problem and it has me still excited.

This video called me tf out I have almost every colour of Point 88 fineliners minus fifteen and every time my birthday comes around everyone gives me notebooks and pens and I always put lower quality grocery store pencils and pens into my pencil pouch in case anyone needs to borrow one not to mention I have over 200 felt tip pens alone and at least 5 pencil pouches That felt tip pen thing wasn't an exaggeration btw I counted all my markers

The only reason I DON'T have every color of Zebra Sarasa is I use them for coloring, and don't want to have two colors that are so similar I might accidentally grab the wrong color. Plus, I've been really trying to minimize lately.

Back to School season and I'm not even in school anymore lol 5$ for a 35GB USB? Restock and try out new stuff on sale/clearance? Heck yes. Just like getting discount chocolate after the holidays. I strangely saw Dr. Grip at Walmart one trip, but they were gone the next time I was there. They also had Marvy LePen. It was really nice to see more Japanese stationery in American stores and not just online. I got the idea to swap pen bodies and refills from StudyQuill. I love my mint Clena that TheCoffeeMonsterzCo had. The Energel Pearl bodies are really nice as well. I put some RTX refills into the Pearl bodies. Much better to handle than the plastic-y feel and sound. Probably more sketchbooks and journals than notebooks though XD I was working a temp job and a customer asked to borrow a pen for an autograph. I gave them my favourite Bic Ultimate Ballpoint Pen, turned around to deal with another customer, turned back and they were gone. Sadface. They don't make them anymore and they were the smoothest pen I've ever had.

I grow my stationery collection when I started bullet journal. I've never thought of having brush pens but now I have pentel fude and tombow brush pens. And my passion towards calligraphy made me have the urge to buy copperplate nibs, even though I already have a fountain pen. Now I'm picky with stationery brands and paper quality. Yeah, me XD

I let somebody borrow a pen back in high school. I'd already been a bit of a pen snob as it was, so I let him take a pen I picked up in the school parking lot. When I came into class the next day, he was chewing on the pen I'd given him, and then proceeded to look me in the eye and asked me if I wanted it back. Worst nightmare, right there.

It's worse with me because I'm also addicted to art supplies. So not only do I have several cases and tins to organize all my "treasures", I spend evenings rearranging my pens or pencils by different brands, types, colors, etc. I'll also switch out entire collections from one case to the other, just because. The case I bought (not from Jet Pens oddly enough) which was meant as an "on-the-go" case for colorists, now house my growing fountain pen collection. A few months ago, I didn't have ANY fountain pens!

Sadly, in the Midwest we are challenged, for such accessories, and having to drive a total of 40 miles round trip (Which I do) to put my hands on a pen I may want to purchase. Thankfully, this pen shop is associated with Jet Pens. Therefore, supporting my "Local"? shop I'm also giving a dollar vote to Jet Pens.

Well in my case (1) I go to sleep 😴 imagining me arranging my stationery items in my pencil box. It calms my nerves ,makes me feel safe and provides me good sleep. (2) I prefer to play with stationery rather than hot wheels or some action figure. (3) I imagine myself living inside a pencil box. Kind off apocalyptic time vehicle, where the pens are nuclear rods powering the vehicle. (4) I spend whole day reading math (taking little breaks for food alone) , and end of the day, I not only enjoy math but take pride in using my pens and note books effectively. (5) I can talk about my pen and note books for hours to my friends. But I just shut myself many times as they would find it wierd. (6) I have spent more money on stationery than for my clothes in this lock down. (7) I threaten my wife 👰 that i would spill ink on her with my fountain pen ( not those serious fights, just the love bites 🤣🤣). (8) I download KZbin videos about stationery, stationery blogs, store it in my drive and watch it for hours like a movie. In fact as am typing am watching jetpen KZbin videos now for almost an hour now. Well the list goes on and on....
