so sad and I get so angry as growing in college around Drug counsellors students. That she would stop him from going in self treatment and more cruelly , deny prescribed pain pills and other things to help him. SO ANGRY!!!

I was emotionally abused for 13 years before I finally left for good. I had never heard of emotional abuse at that time, and my husband convinced me I was causing all the problems. I left two times and went back each time because I thought I could “fix” myself. The third time I left, I bought a place to live instead of renting. That way I knew I couldn’t go back. But my kids were now 15 and 17. I wasted their whole childhoods on a monster who was just plain evil. I can only imagine how my boys must have felt having to go back to him those two times. I have so many regrets that can’t be changed. Please, if anyone is reading this and is being abused in ANY way, please get out as soon as possible. Praying for all the abused men and women who don’t leave or leave too late. 🙏❤️😔

Kathleen, thank you for your post. I snapped it to send to my son who I believe is being physically and mentally abused by his wife. Unfortunately he believes he can fix her issues and says ahh mama, she can’t hurt me. Well we know better than that. I don’t know how to get him to see what’s happening to him, but I’m personally in fear for him and the escalation that’s coming.
