When I first discovered the clear envelopes, I fell in love with the idea that everyone who touches my card from the mail carrier to recipient was able to enjoy the beauty of it. The first time I received a card in a clear envelope I was so tickled! I opened my mailbox and SAW the card, not just an envelope. Surrounded by junk mail and bills, seeing that piece of art right off the bat was just a wonderful thrill.

Good ideas. I especially liked the idea of embossing. I use these a lot, but that was brand new! When a friend asked me to make a card she could send to welcome a new grandbaby, I sent it to her with a matching envelope in a clear bag so she could send it on. I also sell my cards at a Farmers Market where wind can be a problem, and at a bakery/gift shop. I package the card and envelope in a clear bag so they stay clean even if they are blown into a puddle or handled with messy hands. I have solved the problem of showing the inside by taking all my new cards to the scanner. I photocopy four open cards at a time. I print on copy paper, cut it into fourths, and slip the photo of the inside into the back of the clear envelope. The shopper looks at the front, and just turns it over to see a copy of the inside.

I use them for most of these ideas already plus a couple of more (they make great window sheets for small boxes and mini note pad packaging) But, I do like the idea of putting a card in one and then in the envelopes before mailing (I recently received a card that was totally destroyed by rain 😢) And embossing - what a cool idea - and then use it as a window sheet - genius! I bought the clear envelopes to keep my finished cards protected until I am ready to send them and I like to keep the card and the matching envelope together but both wouldn't fit in the clear envelope. So I was amazed to see that you put 4 cards and envelopes in the clear envelope. Am.i correct in saying thst they only come in one size? Great ideas for other uses of the product however love the treat bag ideas. Thank you.
