When we saw this movie, my mom was convinced that the reason 1 didn't want to give up his cape was that he wasn't really 1 and he was only pretending to be. The cape was hiding his real number. That would have been a good plot twist, but this was fine too.

Well it took 540 million years for single celled organisms to evolve into eukaryotes (which is half a billion years) and eukaryotes are every complex organism that is not microscopic, which are the three families in the tree of life, Fungi, plants and animals and if you take into account that in a billion years the sun will start to slowly go into its red giant phase it’s likely that 9, 7 3 & 4 will never encounter any complex life because by the time it could evolve the sun will evaporate the oceans and thus life won’t be possible anymore So unfortunately they won’t need to wait because life won’t exist anymore aside from them and even then life will fully be extinct once the sun becomes a red giant engulfing earth which will cook those Stitchpunks to death I’m sorry for being pessimistic with my comment but it’s actually the cruel reality of that situation they’re in Edit: unless if the Fabracation machine (and it’s Steel Behemoth army) didn’t wipe out all life on earth and some fungi, plants and animals are still alive out in the post apocalyptic world that could theoretically start the cycle of evolution all over again But I don’t think it’s possible since the director I think confirmed that all life was wiped out in a mass genocide caused by the Fabrication Machine, but if they’re are still fungi, plants and animals that are still alive then it could explain a lot of things

Mrs Hirako 1 is my boy he starts out with his head up his ass but over the course of the movie he learns courage teamwork and he realized that without the others he is nothing and he learns how much he actually cares about them

I really love this movie. My only complaint with it is the volume, particularly the voices of the characters. They can be so quiet sometimes that the SFX and or music will muffle their voices and makes it difficult to hear what they're saying. This happened in theaters too cuz I went to see it twice to make sure I didn't view one with issues. I went when the movie was first released on 9/9/09 and again the next day at a different theater and they were both the same results and then again on my Blu-ray copy. Either the recording was done unoptimized or they didn't correct this in post and tested it to make sure before releasing it.
