Wow! I’m only 14 months in on growing my hair out but my hair is curly and it’s taking forever it seems to get some length! Lol

Be patient and let it grow Oil your hair Trim the split ends each 6 months Drink every 2-3 litres water Eat vegetables and other healthy foods And dont cut it

I would say the most important one is, don't cut it for at least 20 months. There may be mean comments or pressure to get a hair cut. Don't follow the temptation to get a hair cut for those 20 months. Small trims may be ok but they will finally slow you down. Depending on how fast your hair grows, you will reach shoulder length and that looks really awesome. Aditionally to Lakshan 97s list, I would say: no heat (no straightening iron, no curl iron, avoid warm blow dryer and even avoid hot water on the hair) no bleaching Combing, brushing detangling when hair gets tangled is good. Basically be gentle with it. I used coconut oil only from the chin downwards, not during my early stages and also not close to the scalp. Don't shampoo your hair every day, if you want to have really long healthy hair. The natural oil from the scalp is good for the hair but it is removed when you shampoo the hair. I would recommend to use a natural shampoo from an eco shop. One that says "sulfate free". However there are different opinions on that. I often use a soap instead of a shampoo. It is an Aleppo soap.
