Randomy stumbled across one of your vids. You’ve got some beautifully amazing hair …and that you’ve kept it for over a decade makes it even more incredible. I’m 2 years along on my long hair journey …really beginning to enjoy it. Listened to some of you music …you definitely exude a Donovan-esque vibe. If you don't mind my asking, how do you sleep with such lengthy locks? And what’s it look like first thing in the morning? The bearded look suits you well; glad to see you're growing it out again. 👍✌

Hi Mike, thank you, your comment made my day! Congratulations on 2 years 👏 Yes after 2 years it has an awesome length. Cheers for taking a look at my music, too! I was listening to his songs without knowing his name, thank you for pointing it out to me! Donovan. Sleeping is easy. I made a loose side braid and let it hang in front of me, protected by a shirt. And then since hip length I found a better way. I do a center part and a normal braid in the back, a little loose for more comfort. Then I need to wear a shirt with a turtle neck or a neck or a tube scarf. I lay the braid around the neck and tuck it into the scarf. I pull it in the front so I have more space around the neck in the front. It may take some time to get used to it. But this way the hair is protected between the shoulders and the head. If I have a braid, it looks fine in the morning. Sometimes I go to bed as I am, no matter what the hairstyle is.
