$1.5 billion to train journalists how to write negative stories about China..... This is what I have encountered recently and now I know why. I have met a young couple in Thailand recently. They were from US and they were traveling from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and then to Cambodia and Vietnam and before going back to US. We have happened to have a casual friendly conversation and I have asked them since they are so near to China, why not go to China just for a few days to see China. I told them China is very interesting. But I was surprised of what they told me. They said according to all their media reports in US and advice by their government and many people. They were advice and told not to travel to China. Even their parents don't allow them to go to China. They were told China is not a safe country to travel. Very dirty, poor rundown infrastructures, poor transportation system, polluted, homeless people are everywhere waiting to rob tourists are common even in broad daylight. Chances of been detained for no reason by the Communist is very high. Because China is an authoritarian state and all foreign visitors are monitored by thousands of cameras everywhere, every minute where foreign visitors go. Foreign visitors from western countries can be detained for months or even years for no reason. Then I asked them about many KZbins videos showing many interesting things about China. Don't they ever watch those video? The answer from them is their media and government said those KZbins video showing positive about China are all lied and paid by Chinese government to create them. All these is what they know about China. The couple is like below 25 years of age and already so badly brainwashed by their government and controlled media. This is really sad.

Some may not be lies though, it's only a lie if you know it's not the truth and still spread the lie anyway.. that is disinformation and what Charles and Einar was talking about. But then there is misinformation, where some neutral party not being paid by USA and the writer believes it to be true and he is just ignorant of the truth. Lying needs/shows intent. Often malicious. We should know who is lying and the real masterminds, vs neutral parties who are ignorant and who have also been duped by the pro USA masterminds into helping them disseminate their lies/anti China propaganda. So the different words show intent and reveal more about what we are dealing with and also then intent, and whether they are ignorant or they are malicious, or both. it is good to know this stuff. Lumping them together and treating them all as malicious would only benefit the masterminds and make it harder to counter and make us waste more time.. ignorance can be countered by education. But maliciousness and lies is a waste of time and those malicious and lying people should dealt with in a different way than ignorant third parties who have been duped but still care about the truth and can still be "saved" and turned into an asset for China and the side of truth and righteousness.

Ericsson is just about the only competitor in the West. Ericsson did a good job, but Huawei was the market leader. There's no American corporation that competes in this market. Backed by the US Government and ultimately the American people. Who will eventually have to pay for all that borrowed money

In the old days like 20 years ago, the cotton picking labors were actually imported from the eastern provinces, such as HeNan. I was a college student at that time and went to my univeristy in west along with those poor people by train. Xinjiang is relatively richer. They hired many labors from outside for those labor intensive works. The 'forced labor' was an obvious joke to me when I heard it in the first place. But the western media mixed it with the human right issues to make China looking terrible. Is there a human right issue in China? Absolutely, but not in a way like the western thought. The Chinese govt is way too strong. The govt is trying to balance the rich and poor as a whole society. In their agenda, the rich people in China don't have as much privilege as in the West. That makes those rich western countries not so comfortable since their properties are not well protected in China when doing business in China.

The difference between the Soviet union and China is that the Soviets didn't have accessibility to see first hand what the US as a product is vs US as an advertisement. I first understood how much US lies in it's free media after I traveled to the Soviet union, the Soviets didn't understand America until it was too late. I had people tell me that they don't need universal healthcare in the US because everybody was rich enough to pay for it. The Chinese are lucky to have access to the US and the west as a whole to see what they actually are
