I am happy to see it too. We Chinese have seen the worst of oppressions, sufferings that are not known in the west because it doesn’t fit the western narrative. But because of this history of suffering we have a strong sense of justice and equality for all people. China does not wish to become the next USA. China wants the entire global south, former colonies, to develop and no longer be subject to the unfair exploitation of the west (former colonizers). The west is fighting back very hard with the propaganda, going around the entire world convincing them China wants to invade them and take away their freedom.
