This power of attorney thing is like morning coffee in the Arab world. Everyone does this because they have way stronger familial ties and they trust their siblings with their lives while they have little trust for the government or in the law. So they combat this by giving power of attorney to their family in case they are absent or out of the country. It’s just natural for them. She doesn’t know this about their culture. The show wanted to make drama out of this. It could be handled in a much better way. She should not force him to revoke his brothers power of attorney. However, she should make sure that her assets are in her name only and not under a joint account. It’s very easy to fix really but the show just wants drama and the easiest way is for them to make Adnan into the Muslim control freak because he is actually quite a good catch otherwise

However, no one was allowed to criticize him. However, others should have kept quiet if Tiger Lily was happy. It's not wise to immerse yourself in situations that don't require your opinion. Here is where Niles doesn't know to be quiet. So, Adnan took the opportunity and called Mr. Arc "Niles Sugar daddy." Niles should have not intervened in the kitchen if he couldn't handle the heat. As for Tiger Lily, I find that she always has the last word with Adnan. She lets him think that he is the leader but Tige Lily is the neck that moves him around. So, their relationship may work out (assuming that it is real. I feel that their storyline is fake).
