Melicia's statement about Ben and Mahogany's relationship was one concise nugget of "she did this to entertain herself on the internet" and it snowballed into a man 30 years older coming to visit her in Peru in pursuit of a real relationship. Like Melicia said, she did not think for one second that Ben would ever come to Peru so she was having some fun. This must happen so many times around the world so I don't fault TLC for showing an example of this version of cat fishing. And now we know the reason she never video chatted, because she not only not looks like her heavily face tuned images, she is also around 20-25 lbs heavier in real life (yet she had the nerve to comment on Ben's looks). I also agree why we see an Airbnb as Mahogany's home, she and her parents didn't want Ben to know their real address, that would be dangerous to let a potential stalker know where they live. In the end I don't feel sorry for Ben because there is no fool like an old fool. Funny how he had no problem with a 24 year old but he did with a 22 year old??? Gonna leave my unpopular opinions here: - Ximena asked Mike to sleep in another room cause, lets be honest, dude farts a lot (sometimes on purpose and even finds it funny). Can't blame Ximena here. Farting is natural and it happens sometimes, but Mike farted and burped on purpose. - "Te amo" and "Te quiero" are different ways to show affection in Spanish. It was completely possible Ximena felt a te quiero and not a te amo yet... but this damn translators. - In most latin american places is common to hang out with friends and party BEFORE getting married, like saying goodbye to the single life. Ximena asked Mike not to come cause she probs wanted to do this. He still came anyways. Then wanted to go home early... so yeah. - Some people find it creepy when others watch you sleep. I personally dont feel that way but I dont blame Ximena. That being said, she sucks for prioritizing her surgery over the dress. But Mike isn't conpletely innocent either. This sir needs to learn not to fart while making out, not to burp at the table and smile like a child, not to hide tissues covered in snot in a taxi driver's car seat and to wasj his hands after touching poop smeared shoes.
