90 day Subaru Impreza 22B boxer diesel build

Timelapse of the complete build of a Subaru Diesel Impreza racecar to compete in the Pikes Peak Race to the Clouds competition. The build was as much of a race as competing in the event itself. With help from a few friends and his girlfriend the majority of the work was completed by one man, Gregoire Blachon, who acted as the mechanic, designer, chief of crew, pit stop crew, tuner, navigator, driver and main backer. The project started mainly on a whim and sent him on an adventure of a lifetime. Thank you to everyone who helped make his dream a reality.

That's cool seeing something different. We see a ton of Subaru's tuned this way and that but a diesel that's just cool. I love diesel cars. They don't get the recognition they deserve especially here in the U.S.

im not sure i would be able to help you, im an old school diesel tuner, i only work on mechanical fuel pumps, not common rail diesel fuel injection. plus im i live in England which im pretty sure you don't :) just want to say again great build and i really like people who think outside off the box like you. i look forward to seeing more off this car, im pressing the subscribe button now, please have a look at my videos off my turbo diesel vauxhall astra, i think you will like it.

Nice job on making a 22B look-alike, based on a humble 2-door Impetza !!!! Was it a Subaru Boxer Diesel, if so why put the Radiator at the front in the video and not on top where the bonnet air-scoop is, plus any thought off turning it into a bi-turbo unit or adding a supercharger along side the existing turbo ?? !!

What wheel size did you go with? I know it has to be pretty wide as the aerosim body kit is like 45m wider in the front and like 65m in the rear 😱. And may I ask what dash that is? I really like it. Awesome build and I just bought my own 99 Impreza build. Time to start shopping for parts! 👍🏼
