90 Days of Drought - on a Mission to Rescue the Land

This has been a problem since 2012 when the spraying started in autumn all the way through to spring. Im in constant dialogue with the authorities and their response is "its not their jurisdiction". What makes the situation worse is that the heavy metals also destroy the soil biota. What Ive done to remedy this is to make a JADAM mixture and apply it. The difference is incredible. You will have to mulch as well (so that's a big job) Hang in there. People are waking up and every email we send to people such as SEPNA they will eventually have to do something to let the natural weather back again. Keep up the good work.

I don’t think two weeks will be long enough to kill weeds under the black tarp especially if the soil is dry. Seeds will definitely grow after the first rain when you will remove the tarp. If you have the possibility, lay also a tarp for the whole winter so that you have a place ready for next spring. Having a spring still running at this stage of the year and two wells with water is such a good news!!!

Well done, you are doing a great job. You are wright if you top off the greenery of the plant, the roots wil die. Also the black of the tarp wil get so hot in the sun, that it wil kill any plants and seeds underneath. Nice work.

@@antoniocarvalho6160 Thank you! Yes, this is of course an option. I am setting up a gravity fed irrigation system soon. With that in mind, I did not want to purchase equipment that will be replaced by a new system within the next months. Better for my wallet and for the environment 😃💚

You must water your olive trees if you want to produce olive oil. The summer, the hot weather doesn't let the olives to grow and to be oily. Every 10 days you must do that. Advice from Greece, Crete where we have the best olive oil at the world.💧🌳🏺🏞️🌅🏖️🌞
