Just do gravel, way more than you did before. Compress it. Get new gravel every 2-3 years. After 10 years it will be so compressed through use it will be fine. Also you have to get up the last hill. If you don’t all the water from the rain will go into the gravel and sweep it away. Same with the end of the driveway.

I advise you to let the oil decant for several days in the large barrel before transferring it to the bottles, this way the "sludge" will sink to the bottom and you will have a lighter oil.

I don't know how many barrow loads of soil you've moved, or gravel - heavier and further to transfer - but your energy is amazing. I'm wondering, depending on the type of roof for your shed, would you consider attaching guttering to harvest the water, and direct it to a srorage tank?

Go Iris!! The gravel is looking good and flat. When making the form for the concrete slab you can't have enough pegs in the ground, better too much as too little. Many people underestimate the weight and pressure from the concrete, which can result in crooked edges if the form is not solid enough. Also make sure to have some extra pegs at hand for emergency repairs from the form if the form fails anyway during the pouring from the concrete. It is better to be well prepared. Happy holidays !! 👍

Hello Iris, nice start for the concrete slab. I didn’t hear you talking the plastic sheet between gravel and concrete. It will protect the concrete from losing its water when poured on the gravel and protect your shed from the damp / humidity coming from the soil. Thickness of the plastic sheet 2/10 mm. Please, the rebar net should be in the middle of the slab. Normally you should also protect the concrete from losing to much water because of the wind and the sun after being poured, you will probably not spray curing compound but you can also spray water on it after 24 and then 48 h. Can’t wait to see the next update…

This week's useful gardening "Hints and Tips" instalment. Firstly you must consider whether a whole hole is necessary, would half a whole hole be sufficient? Is half a hole even a hole you may wonder? It has been scientifically proven that half a whole hole is still a hole. We at the institute hope you found this useful. Looks good. It is always a bit surprising how big a pile of dirt can get when you dig it out from the ground. I think that the cheapest way to deal with it is to spread it evenly across the rest of the land. Then you will also keep the nutrients and the micro organisms on your land. Or you can rent a container and have it removed completely. When you spread it then it will look a bit chaotic during the winter. But soon enough the grass will grow and the rain will blend it in as well, and then you won't even see it anymore. Keep up the good spirit, and I am looking forward to the next video. 👍

Hi Lisette, don't worry too much about the way you prune your vines. What is important is to prune because the vine will react to pruning by growing new branches. some are newer than others. different qualities too. one is a 100 year old vine, the small ones 10-15. the older the vine, the better. because of the roots strength. the system of propagation you're trying to do is called cloning, but done the way you are doing some trees develop sterile stems, you'll have to "enxertar" (graft). did you know you can have oranges, mandarins, lemons and pomegranates on the same tree? stay strong 🤠😎

@insAneTunA
@insAneTunA 15 күн бұрын
You did your research, so I think that it will be alright. Have you ever heard about air layering for propagating trees? It is a relative easy method, and you can do it on an existing tree with a branch that you would normally prune. But instead of pruning it you can let it grow a root system while it is still on the tree. You can do it with every tree. KZbin has specific examples for most if not all individual tree species, so it is easier to watch that than me trying to write an entire story. And if you have a branch that is close to the ground you can bend it a little more and bury it halfway and let the top stick out of the ground, and then it will also develop a root system. I once stuck a small twig from a hazelnut tree straight into the garden soil, and now it is a lush bush. But I never had a lot of nuts because I did the pruning wrong. This year I try to do it right and at the right time of the year, right after the winter frost. Thanks for sharing and I am looking forward to see how the results from the pruning are going to be 👍
