It was really helpful, I'm currently on a really similar customisation from AJ1 Low Slip Silt Red to Reverse Mocha (not cause the hype but that cw hits me personally). This will be my first ever shoe painting, been watched so many Reshoevn8r videos, and feel so excited. Can you tell me what was the hardest about creating this one, so I can prepare😅. For ex the 4mm holes for laces was a great help.

That’s really cool to see the process, and also the timing on the video was just right. Not too long, not too short. I had no idea that Nike had a $1000 shoe. I like the looks of the shoe, but probably wouldn’t ever spend $1000 on a shoe. Even if I had tons of money I probably wouldn’t. Anyhow, nice workmanship!

when you add the toepuff, assuming its thermoplastic does this block the holes in the vamp/toe and therefore make the shoe not very breathable? or does the toepuff material alow airflow?

Tear down a pair. It's pretty easy just take your time and don't shred it. Use a heat gun and acetone for glued areas.

In simple terms, if you are not selling, or gaining monetary value by advertising the custom you technically are following the legal side of it. But also, nike is so busy with actual companies copying them they are not going to attack an individual doing a leather swap custom.
