These are from December 1993. Family Channel started airing "Rin Tin Tin" and "New Lassie" weeknights at 6 PM on Monday, 12/20/93.

Aero the Acro-Bat! This game can BITE ME too! It was soooooo HARD! LOL
@yusakug7 жыл бұрын
Ah, Aero the Acrobat - An example of the time when every video game company needed an "animal with attitude" game after Sonic made a big splash in 1991. Other examples included Bubsy the Bobcat, Awesome Possum, Rocky Rodent and Mr. Nutz (a squirrel). Heck, even Bill Clinton's pet cat, Socks, almost got a video game at this time, where he would be reimagined as a cartoon cat with shades. (The game was canceled, but videos exist of it here on KZbin.) kzbin.info/www/bejne/jpjJiK2GYtV2mq8 Bubsy the Bobcat is getting a reboot for the PS4, so there's hope for an Aero reboot if you somehow actually want one.

I'm still in shock about Bubsy coming back. Hopefully, we'll see Gex or Croc make a return or even Tomba or Klonoa.

Rin Tin Tin K9 Cop-had envisioned this as a animated show where he talks and carries a laser pistol.. Chick A Boom-sounds like the name for a DickTracy villain lol Starcom-Good show,even if the episodes sometimes aired out of order

Those InfoSlams were a bit annoying overtaking the ending themes on the shows, aren't they? I forgot all the "special" guest stars the Mario show had back in the day! I also forgot FAM did Hey Vern It's Ernest reruns! I was happy to see them here after CBS canceled it.
@RetroCirq7 жыл бұрын
I've noticed that Family Channel had a deal with DiC to carry the reruns of it's catalog!

the only thing I remember from 'hey vern, it's ernest!' is the joke where he wants a haircut like 'a wall street tycoon' but the barber *never* gets it quite right. :P also the cap'n crunch videogame-esque ad... sorta surprised he never got one! I suppose there's always chex quest.

chick-a-boom, thin ice, don't wake daddy, the one with the loops on a popup like pylon thing, the one where you withdraw sticks out from under a pile of marbles, etc = russian roulette for 6 year olds. are toy manufacturers still pimping this same tired concept these days? they're not even games
@ChapBloke7 жыл бұрын
Of course they're not games. *it's a goddamn war of nerves*
@80sCommercialVault7 жыл бұрын
In the original version of The Deer Hunter, they actually played Thin Ice instead of Russian Roulette. The scene was later changed in reshoots because the studio deemed it "too intense"
