Bebe's Kids has that distinct "proud" animation quality. That or C-Bear and Jamal. Whichever cartoon it is. Yet Tone Loc will never be forgotten.

Who would have thought that watching commercials from your childhood can be more entertaining than the shows you watched, its a bit of a time capsule in those 30 sec spots that are so fulfilling to watch

I never liked the *6 weeks to go* commercials because they would remind me school was starting up again around that time. THANKS

In that Batman Returns handheld game commercial, where the kid was mouthing different lines of dialogue from the movie, I kept on waiting for him to say "Saved by kitty litter..."

they got a lot of use out of that "You got a lot to do before lunch" jingle... I had forgotten about that. Right in the grade school feels.

Back when there were after school cartoons. Now it’s just the soap operas, crappy courtroom dramas, and news.

A new K-Mart that you'll be proud to walk into...it's a shame to say I'm no longer proud to walk in my local K-Mart. Unfortunately they couldn't compete against the likes of Wal-Mart and Target.

That Batman game is so simple looking, but at the time it gave me hours of joy. I miss those mail order toys so much. I have zip-lock bags filled to the brim of them :)

I've lived in So Cal my entire life so it was really nice to see commercials from area. I remember watching K-cal kids every morning and thinking how cool it was for these kids to be a Disneyland everyday

I agree totally with your thoughts on "Honey I Blew Up The Kid". If people didn't know better, they would have misinterpreted the title as the scientist causing his kid to explode, rather than growing to giant size.
@80sCommercialVault5 жыл бұрын
"Blow up" was common terminology for enlarging a photo on a photocopier back then. I'm pretty sure that's where the title came from.

It's February 12th 2020 (my b day by the way) and I'm watching this volume for the 1st time which happens to have a TV spot for Honey, I blew up the kid which is awesome because today it was announced on Twitter that Rick Moranis is coming back from his hiatus to do another one of these flicks. It will be called Shrunk.

Sally Jessy Raphael-the topic mustve been about escort services.. Honey I Blew Up The Kid-another good title wouldve been Honey,I Enlarged Our Kid! Bebe's Kids-this was a funny animated film..R.I.P Robin Harris(Faizon Love did a spot-on impression of Robin for this) GI Joe-clip used was the from the opening of GI Joe:The Movie(interestingly,the final battle was supposed to take place at Liberty Island,before they changed direction and went with the whole Cobra-LA nonsense)
