child of '92 checking in - the pure nostalgia of my childhood just punched me in the face with this video. I remember all of those commercials to the point where I could sing most of the jingles word for word. Thanks for the throwback! Would love to see this become a series where you watch commercials from our childhood and then see what you can still buy today to try as an adult! There's definitely so much more out there you could check out.

The amount of nostalgia all these commercials give me man. I miss this time period. I didn't have all the toys but my friend who was a bit richer than me did and playing with them was crazy. He also had a squirrel. Growing up in the late 90's early 2000's just hit different man.

Seeing all these brought me back as well. Since I'm also a 90s kid who was big into the N64. Big into LOZ: Orcarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and all the Pokemon games. Your video brought me a lot of nostalgia, especially with all the commercials, so thank you for that.

I once got a pretty rare Pokemon card and this guy in the special needs class who was really into them asked to trade. He offered me about 20 cards ( all doubles ), a beanie baby and some sick DBZ pics he drew so I accepted. When my mum found out she accused me of taking advantage of him and made me give everything back. He was actually someone who knew a lot about the things that he was interested in so the deal was actually in his favor. I kept the DBZ picks though, and I still have them somewhere lmao.

Hey Destery! I just watched a video about the fall of Bobby Burns and it really opened my eyes to what Shane missed on. YOU. that video he did with Bobby should've been you in that video, getting recognition for your channel and showing people what you're all about!! I don't watch Shanes channel anymore but I still find myself watching your channel every time I see a new video. Keep up the great work Destery! I have no idea what went on behind the scenes, but you deserved way better from Shane and his community. 💙

I remember being around 5/6 when I blew a B'loonies bubble slightly bigger than my entire body (I was bad at blowing so I could only ever blow small bubbles. Don't worry, I'm better at blowing now) and I was soooo excited! I knew my dad wouldn't believe me about how big it was so I knew I had to show him right then! I ran through the apartment and found my alcoholic dad passed out and tried waking him for over 45 minutes. I finally gave up and spent the next hour trying to maintain the bubble, hoping dad would soon wake up from his "sleepy juice nap". It eventually deflated and I was crushed. I spent the next 2 hours trying to recreate the bubble and ended up going through all 8 tubes without even getting a medium bubble. When he finally woke up, he didn't believe me about my bubble and thought I was making up stories to impress him. I will never forget that bubble, I still remember all the hope I had for it, we were going to be best friends, I was going to have dad take a Polaroid picture of us together so I could show the kids at daycare. R.I.P Big bubble Brian 🎈

I remember begging my mom for the Elastic Plastic balloons and when my sister and I finally got it (you know, when new toys were being shoved down your throat every day unlike now when they just want kids to invest in crypto) and they in fact DID pop but it was a slow exhale so you had to squeeze the hole together quickly and re-inflate constantly until you gave up because they never made shapes like the commercials.

I tried cornpops in the 90's when I was visiting my cousins, because my older cousin liked it. I was super excited because we always used to get the same cereal (rice krispies or alphabet cereal) and the commercials made it sound like it was so good and what the teenagers ate. . .oh how disappointed I was. Rice krispies and that discontinued frosted alphabet cereal were better.
