They said in their mom's memoir that he was strict but fair. Worked and earnen with him their whole life, even on telethons. Then he dies- bam- they claim mow that he was the worst father ever. I know this comment is over a year old but I just have to say this. Joseph was my father and I promise you that he didn't commit suicide. My dad was starting a new job that day and beforehand my mother and I were going to take him to a local wildlife museum to have a fun day together. As someone who now is dealing with thoughts of suicide and dealing with major depression I can honestly say that my dad was never that person. It was an accident through and through.

In 1968, my uncle was killed in a collision between his 1965 Ford Fairlane and a semi-tractor trailer. The accident literally removed his face, from the chin to the top of his head. I loved my uncle, and any difference in his appearance would have been burned in my mind. I know of his injuries because of accident photos I saw many years later. The mortician was an artist beyond compare. He recreated my uncle's face -in wax- so perfectly one would have thought he'd gone to the accident scene and found the original unscathed and put it back in place. Madame Toussand's would have been fortunate indeed to have had an artist of his skill. THEY must work from a time-consuming live-cast mold of their subjects to do what that mortician did from a single photo. And, he did this in only three days! Why such a morbid post? Because of the tragedy that is the face on that still living, breathing, and famous singer, Wayne Newton. It is beyond unpleasant to see so many celebrities voluntarily have their faces removed and replaced with..., well, the face of an unrepaired corpse. People still, today, speak in wonder; "What the Hell was Michael Jackson thinking?" Compared to Newton and many other famous people Michael looked good. Poor Wayne, where the hell was a good mortician when he needed one.

to me Jerry Lewis is the king of comedy. I wrote him a letter two years ago telling him how big of a fan of his I am. I sent the letter in January, and on Good Friday, I received an autographed photo of him. It is now on my wall next to two autographed photos from 2 other Giants in comedy......Jim Carrey and Robin Williams.

He presented himself as a "saviour" of sick children but had almost nothing to do with his 6 sons and homeless daughter. There is something truly sickening in hurting those closest to you. The more I learn his story the more I think he was a covert narcassist who needed the publics attention continuously. He was always saying in every interview how much he "loved" Dean Martin. Was there no love left over for his natural children! I mean 6! After 1 passed away..What monster would sell all her father private jewellry to strangers? That says it all. I now feel sick thinking about watching another Jerry Lewis anything. I think the world was duped...biggest con in show business. These were Children after all..
