Most of the fit old people I know can open keep healthy until mid-late 80s. Usually Alzheimers, major fracture, heart, or wife dies and they deteriorate rapidly. Many have joint replacements and several stents in their heart. The majority are combat vets and former professional athletes (or very seasoned amateur particularly sports where its not possible to be pro). Activity level resembles someone in their mid-late 60s, when the body truly gets old and joints start going. The ones that don't give up end up reverting to lower impact and VO2max activities (retiree baseball, calisthenics, cycling). Energy drop, aches, pains usually cease marathon running, major adventure hiking by the mid-late 60s. Pastor John Higgins is probably the healthiest non-active old person I know, about to hit 80. He makes heavy use of supplements with an anxiety focus on Alzheimers because Chuck smith got nailed with it in his mid-80s.

I say for most peple, non-fit people and emulate youth in a believable way activities-wise into their 40s and fit people can emulate youth (20-34) into their 60s. I don't see many 35+ able to mingle as equals (as opposed to mentors) with the 16-24s regardless of fitness though. 20 years higher for emulating late adulthood / middle age (35-50). After that, age-related disability makes it difficult or impossible. A lot of hardcore adventure tours actually have age cut-offs at 35. Less hardcore sometimes cut-off at 50. I do think its cool that there are many 35+ staying at hostels that still call themselves youth hostels (This is in Jerusalem).

Age is not just a number. For the majority of the population, it is a real measure of physical limitations outside of choice. The body aches more, breaks easier, heals less, and fatigues faster. The whole "age is just a number" is the same measure of insanity that one sees in rags such as "Teen Magazine" that sets bars and image quotas well outside the range of common everyday teens. Even if by some miracle a 90 year old was able to perform these tricks, it would be unfair and ignorant to tell other 90 year olds that age is "Just a number" Unless your goal is to make them feel like shit for being what most 90 year olds are...frail, tired, and unable to be 20 again. Motivation is one thing...anyone can motivate. Capability? Not all are capable. This video is trash.
