Man the pucker factor nailing the gas on that must be incredible. We had a dirt track in West Sacramento for years, but back then it was like 340 inch small blocks with hilborns on alcohol putting out maybe 600 hp and even that was nuts (for a 1/4 mile track). This must be a rocket. Cheers!

When those run on the high banks of Salem they kind of scare me. They are so damn fast and that track is a killer. I prefer to watch them on dirt, a nice quarter mile banked track in Haubstadt is my favorite. Salem is pretty breath taking, but it and Winchester seem to take too many drivers. I was at Salem when Rich Vogler cashed his chips in. Enough of that, good luck, maybe I'll see you around. If I could drive any kind of race car it'd be a sprinter...hands down. I did stockers.

This is a different type of Sprint then we have at our local dirt track. I'm thinking they race this type on pavement ,but I have no idea where. Can anyone help me out here.
@RyanLittRacing4 жыл бұрын
This is a pavement Sprint. Race in the South (Florida), Midwest (Indiana/ Michigan) and West coast (California)

First time I have ever seen a radiator mounted flat like that!! Seen a lot sideways on the left front of the motor plate, but never flat just above the ground! Effective for aero I guess?
@scottgolden27666 жыл бұрын
metalman6050 I noticed that to. I guess it makes the nose smaller

Hello, nice ride! You're thoughts on fuel injection units please...(I see you have Engler). I'm researching stack injection for a mopar drag car I'm building and I see units made by Engler, Hilborn, and Kinsler. Can you share your experiences/comparisons with these setups? Any querks or such with any or are they all the same? Customer service? Thank you and good luck racing!

that is a very nice car, it looks like a panard rod set up on the rear?
@RyanLittRacing9 жыл бұрын
You are correct.
@Gr1pEnemy9 жыл бұрын
Ryan Litt ive been converting my wingless into a bitumen track car and have been considering running a panard rod. is there any problem with mounting off the bird cages? they dont stress the bearings or anything with slicks on the rear? i know they are a lightweight car but the winters diff is designed for dirt, my only worry is stressing or flexing things in the wrong way. ive seen how some guys triangulate the diff but most of the cars seem to unload the rear having too shorter radius rods attatched. i keep going back to the panard rod idea.

It's crazy that you can see the right is extended farther than the left in assuming its meant to do circle track originally?
@RyanLittRacing9 жыл бұрын
Conn0isseur Dana Yes it's a sprint car, only races on oval tracks. We had just got the motor put in and wanted to start it to check for leaks in this video.
@weedconnoiseur9 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the response! and that does look amazing what does that setup weigh?

Did you take out the rear end gear in order to run it? Or is there an engagement of some sort? I know normally they have to be push started
@RyanLittRacing5 жыл бұрын
Kyle Lawhon this is after being pushed off you can see the truck behind the car...
@TheNolesfan945 жыл бұрын
Ryan Litt so they have a neutral? I always thought they were direct drive.
@RyanLittRacing5 жыл бұрын
Kyle Lawhon yes they’re direct drive but can be taken out of gear whenever you want
@RyanLittRacing11 жыл бұрын
Yes, there is no transmission, this is identical to a World Of Outlaw sprint car, just a bit lower, stiffer, and wider for pavement.
@scottgolden27666 жыл бұрын
Ryan Litt So you are using some sort of in-out box to disconnect the drive?
