And as Craig will explain, the process of developing a car like this is incredibly complex from both a hardware and a software perspective. A lot of it has to do with how efficiently the compressed air is delivered to the engine. If it isn’t cooled down enough after the turbo compressed it, you’re losing a lot of power. Invest in a good water to air intercooler.

The SLS is a monster. I have a SLS with Weistec tuned ECU/TCU and I do not feel comfortable flooring the throttle anywhere. I can't imagine having 2x the power that I already don't use...cool project though.

The amount of work that went into a Twin turbo, the amount of piping and the amount of stuff that can go wrong, not to mention the cost and reliability. I personally think a Supercharger suits the car way better. But props to World Motorsports for building it. i mean its a hell of challenge.

+James Butler where I live in Northern California, 91 octane runs about $4.39 a gallon. Considering Europe has higher octane levels, I think it's about even. 100 octane is around $10 a gallon here also if you can find it.

+NorcalFA5 Europe and Canada both pay way more than even Californa. We're well over $6.00 an imperial gallon for 91 here in Canada. Also, European fuels have a higher numerical rating to them, but it's a different fuel classing system. So even though it's rated at 98 or 100, it's really just 91 and 93 octane.

My question is how do you smog this in CA when you delete the cats? In working on a mid mount turbo cat delete turbo kit for my 350 and idk how in going to smog it. I know people do but how do we get around this or install cats to pass?

Dude, the point is intentionally not to be helpful in this scenario. Running without cats is super illegal in CA, as is running an aftermarket twin-turbo kit. Running any high flow cat is illegal in California, unless it's BAR approved, and then, it won't be a high-flow cat. So we don't talk about it. I was trying to be subtle without coming out and saying it, just hinting at it, but since you missed the hint - running an aftermarket twin turbo kit, running a catless exhaust, or both, is illegal in california, and if someone's done it, they found another way around. So for me to give you a straight answer is, effectively, the same as me publicly NARC'ing on someone who's been kind enough to give me seat time in their car.
