blunder move and time -_-

A total blunder of moves at the end starting with Qg6. Anna moved the wrong knight. She had Kxg6 getting the queen and still stopping the pawn promotion. Then They tried the pawn promotion when Qg8 was checkmate. Kxf8 then Rxf8 was checkmate but she moved the queen instead. It was a total comedy of errors on both sides at the end. A draw was an excellent outcome after that.

The time limit for a game is absurd. The better solution would be a time limit for a move. Or combination of both in some way, but not a hard time limit.

daily/correspondence games do have that, and if you want that in a live game, you can just play with increment

a hard time limit for the entire game (or for the first 40 moves, then next 20 moves, then to the end of the game) is how most competitive chess has been played since the 1800s the reason is because a time limit for individual moves has the issue that moves aren't equally difficult to make. if you allow 1 minute per move, you're going to force some really bad decisions in critical positions, but if you allow 30 minutes per move, the game will take forever (not to mention people can stall for no reason on obvious moves). in addition, a time limit on the entire game forces players to properly manage their own time which one of the skills required to be a good chess player that being said, when you play chess with 1 minute for the entire game, the vast majority of chess players consider it entertainment and don't take it too seriously. even relatively strong players like Anna and her opponent are going to make mouseslips or outright bad moves (from a classical chess standpoint)
