What's the fuel pressure on the launch. Turning the key could have re primed the fuel pump after it lost pressure because of fuel slosh in the tank. Just a thought

I'm thinking the same thing. Launching so hard that it's moving all the fuel away from the pump and hitting fuel cut. He'll probably need to do a surge tank to fix that.

Check the main power cable from the starter motor looks like under lots of load/high grip levels is when it’s cuts out/ecu shuts down, it could be shorting and the relay that powers the ecu is disconnecting until you cycle the ignition

Seems like you may have a faulty ignition switch, when you dump the clutch and snatch off that clutch chatter knocks your ignition off imo. Remove and check the electrical aspect of the switch for continuity with a DVOM on acc and start as well as the run position. Good luck!

It shuts off so crisp its gotta be electrical. Maybe check the crank trigger. I cant imagine its starving for fuel pressure with it cutting off like that. Maybe the strain gauge on the shifter is cutting spark it hits so violent idk why it would stick tho. Just some ideas. Wish you slipped the clutch to see a hint of what it could do. I know your just testing. Im sure next video you will find out what it was. You built a hell of a machine man

What I recommend is stripping the whole wiring harness out and starting again from scratch with basics what needed to make it run and lights only if you can afford to and have time as could be wiring proplem

Check your wiring for resistance on earths and main power wires when moving them in the bay, seen similar stuff under high loads to a lesser scale with partial worn wires that only really play up under extreme movement (load), normally only 5v signal wires in oem applications but it looks to me like you lose 12v

Not sure if you have the power to stay out on him but you would have deff had a high 8 or low 9 run with that pass at 140 plus the 20ish mph you lost from having to coast and restart the car.
