Nice repair. I have two questions... Does the hot glue soften significantly while you are soldering? Meaning, does this present any problems? Would it have been possible to 1) leave the back plate completely clean, 2) use two of the generic sticker-type push button pads and 3) just write the functions on the pads with a permanent marker? Would doing the repair in that manner encounter problems? I am not fault finding, here, I am just thinking on the repair options. Thank you, Haseeb. You are most gracious to teach us.

I have never had this problem but I used to wonder how it happens. Based on what I saw in your last video, I started to think that it was simply one of the buttons being stuck down because of being used a lot. Most likely the "start" button because it is the most used button on a microwave. So I would have rather just replace that particular button and leave everything else intact..... ....By testing each pin of the keypad to see which button was stuck down. Then cutting out that one button from the dual layer keypad and replacing it with only one of the tactile switches shown in this video. You can probably also find out which button is the problem before taking it apart by running your fingers across each button to see which one has a dent in it. That is most likely to button that was stuck down. It's most likely not a failure of the entire keypad, but because one of the buttons is stuck down it prevents all the other buttons from working! Using my approach may save you a lot of time and materials and testing. This is still a very good video series though because it shows people how to troubleshoot and assess a problem and some methods in order to fix it.

Likely your most impressive repair yet! A bit prohibitively expensive to fix in the U.S. We are not a sustainable society here :(

Amzing. I'd call it Remaking Microwave keypad, but with the avantage this one would last a lot more time than the OEM.

What a wonderful explanation. Today i know about it how it's working together. It's just like a manual synchronisation with the help of number codes.

I used to enjoy repairing microwaves but when I found out what they do to your food and if you microwave your food you might throw in the garbage 🗑️ microwaving your food destroys the enzymes that makes the food healthy thus you killed your food, you can smell it when you cook the food or heat it up,it makes me want to throw up. The I just scrapped them.

you are absolutely 💯 percent right indeed microwave is unhealthy source for heating foods. it destroys the food indredients and leads to cancer. even while repair if the repairing person inhales a microdose of broken magnetron, he directly gets cancer because most of the magnetrons use beryllium.
