Drums are delicious. They are the same family as Red Fish. Filet them out and fry them up. Small to medium are the best. The bigger they get, the softer the meat.

Cap 🧢 only a certain part of the fillet actually tastes good on the back strap, people call it poor mans shrimp.

Appreciate the tips! I'm going to have to invest in a kayak soon. Lots of areas on our lake I can't get the boat into and a couple of creeks very close.
@floyd654526 күн бұрын
I've got to find some creeks like that in my area where I can get a boat in the water. I don't have a kayak and don't know if I can sit in one with my back, but need to look into getting one.

You can find em out in the sun on overcast days, just gotta find a nice deep stump you can cast on. There's a telephone pole in Hickory Creek mouth that's pretty money you should try that one out, it holds big slabs.

I could really use some help in finding a home and what lake I should be looking to be nearby. I would love if you could go find that e-mail and reply to it. I would be a huge help for us.
