Great interview. I appreciate interviewers that have done a bit more research and not be asking the same intro questions. In terms of releases, I don't mind EPs. I find them more a concentrated feel of that time period. Plus, all tracks are usually $1-2 dollars anyway - I've bought all her EPs though; The music I quite like at this moment of my life.

I play the guitar just like her and when you learn it that way it's just normal to you, it doesn't keep me from playing anything when it starts to get into technical play and bends are easier on the A,D,G,B,E strings because you would bend them down but the low E string I have to bend up. apparently me and her are not the only one's like this, I seen a guy at guitar center play like me & her too. the funny thing is we can seen what normal guitarist's are playing really well but you would have no clue what we are playing lol

[Verse 1] It's gone too far to ever go back You know I wouldn't give you up but baby, I don't want that It hits you so hard to be so good You know you keep so still and maybe it's a kind of flag Maybe it's the reason that I'm back Maybe it's alright Maybe I've always been this kind Baby, it's too hard, I'm too scarred for this to work again But you know I still wake up with you every morning like we're still dead [Chorus] I heard she's running out again I know you're over that I know that look you didn't want You're all I've got I heard you're fired up again I know something doesn't feel right You know it's gotta feel right [Verse 2] It's not the same now Then for a while, this feeling hasn't changed It eats me so hard to feel so great You know you kept so clean, I was the reason that you didn't stay Maybe it's the reason you're so glazed Maybe it's alright Maybe I've always been so afraid Baby, it's too hard, I'm too scarred for this to work again But you know I still wake up with you every morning like we're still dead [Chorus] I heard she's running out again I know, get over that I know that look you didn't want You're all I've got I heard you fucked it up again I know something doesn't feel right You know it's gotta feel right I heard she's running out again (You kept so still) I know you're over that I know that look you didn't want, you're all I've got (You kept so clean, you kept so still) I heard you fucked it up again (You kept so still) I know something doesn't feel right You know it's gotta feel right (From genius.com)

I couldn't speak so I slurred while I looked for a word But you left just before I could find it I sat by myself and I stared at the pictures of you on the wall I kissed the floor, curled up in a ball There's nothing coming out of my mouth so I said nothing at all Babe, you've got a face like thunder Always trying to get out and under Just stay still 'til I say it's over Babe, you've got a face like thunder And you question your lover, did she really believe That this new taste of love is obsolete? It just couldn't compete and so you'll Keep dragging your body through life by the hair So you can say that you've been somewhere and you don't care How you're received, you sense it's a debt then you can't be reprieved Babe, you've got a face like thunder Always trying to get out and under Just stay still 'til I say it's over Babe, you've got a face like thunder Say sorry for what, for what, for what? You know I didn't mean it I said something terrible and I tried to redeem it I can be so cool but now I don't seem it Babe, you've got a face like thunder Always trying to get out and under Just stay still 'til I say it's over Babe, you've got a face like thunder

She's using the Voicelive 3 Extreme for all of her vocal effects. Its a pretty powerful (and expensive) pedal. Other than that, I believe most of her guitar effects are JHS pedals.

@callumalston5755 7 жыл бұрын
EloiseMwahaha she swears by the way huge electronics swollen pickle, which despite being a fuzz can give a really good gain boost without being gnarly (although it can do that too) it's definitely audible in clean, because musicians set their pedal boards in a lot of acoustic performances they'll have pedals that they don't use at their feet because it's convenient to set up. Also the reverb comes from the fender iron face amp which has some of the nicest amp reverbs around

Her pedalboard has a Way Huge swollen pickle, Digitech polara reverb, Ibanez Tube Screamer, Behringer vintage delay and TC helicon voicelive extreme. I think she also uses a Boss harmonist pitch shifter all through a Fender vibrolux amp.

A harmonizer pedal. It's a pedal that takes the voice input and changes it into a vocal harmony using notes from the guitar playing

@@909thebridge Not the reverb--she sounds like she has a backup singer doing harmony vocals. I know of a few devices that do it, but I would like to know the particular model--or software or whatever--she uses.
