Omg this is exactly what I and everybody wore, you've genuinely got this spot on!! Some of these really brought back memories... like the long crochet cardigan (I had one so similar to this), sport wear was big back then, as were spaguetti straps and transparencies... I had a see-through top to overlay just like that! Black was so trendy too, and of course the mini backpacks, actually backpacks of all sizes were in, especially leather backpacks, a lot of girls back then would just wear a cute backpack instead of a purse unlike now. Beading charms and pins were on trend too, people used a lot of pins on the backpacks, on caps, and on denim. I remember hip hop culture influenced fashion a lot back then, a tight top with loose cargo pants was like everybody's uniform. I loved this video, what a trip! ❤

I remember younger people having the mini backpacks but I had a variety of large handbags; patent leather ones generally. One we christened "The tardis" as it fitted everybody's stuff in. I also had a multi coloured larger rucksack in the early 1990's in psychodelic print which I loved. The spaghetti strap tops/dresses over t-shirts were extremely popular in 1994 and these were teamed with an oversized denim shirt. They could also be worn with leggings/jeans and a bodysuit with the shirt fastened halfway up or tied; I have a picture of me wearing a multicoloured oversized pendant around my neck wearing this combo in 1994. Not so sure if the bucket hats were a massive UK trend? I do remember an awful trend in 1998/1999 of trousers with an attached skirt to them; swerved that one! Love the lookbooks. Subscribed.
