She had a history of being violent and irrational to former partners, and stabbing someone such a huge amount of time wouldn’t be necessary in self defense. Lying at fist also wouldn’t have been necessary. There’s not much at all about the self defense angle that makes it believable, at least from the information in this video.

For people who are wondering why people are upset about the title, I think there are a lot of reasons, but the true crime community cares a lot about these cases and the victims. This title sensationalizes the killer and actually gives her a "higher status" than she deserves and nothing for the victim. I think there are two types of KZbinrs, the ones who sensationalize the killer and the ones who tell the victim's stories. I think Hailey is still figuring her channel out.

In fact you point out probably one of the biggest problems I think people have...it is a good video. Hailey makes good videos, and people in the true crime community would love her once they got to know her, but not if she sensationalized the killer over the victims.

True crime in general is sensationalizing killers and giving them a name for all the wrong reasons. That’s not Hailey’s issue to sort out, but the true crime community’s priorities as a whole. Say what you want, but people getting mad at Hailey for an honest mistake, while also fueling the community to find pleasure in horrible crimes is hypocritical in my opinion.

@@VintageVal I was like 6 when it happened. my older brother seas getting into trouble going down the wrong path he met her they started to get into some trouble until she got pregnant they bother immediately turned their life around got great jobs. My nephew was 1 when this happened and it was on Mother’s Day. My brother has never married or had another kid he can’t since he credits her with turning his life around. It’s his story to tell if he ever wants to. He carried the new paper clipping in his wallet a short paragraph on what happened.
