It was fun but a little disrespectful to the victims of these stories. These aren't spooky and there are no funny dancing skeletons. The only accurate part is "scary". I mean, they ARE investigating. You can't be caught when doing that kind of stuff. You can't tell me you would never hire one if you thought your significant other was cheating on you, cause no one is ever going to admit that they are unless they're caught in the act. It may sound wrong, but it IS their job. Besides it's not like they're doing it out of malicious intent, they're just there to see if any claims by their client is true. But I DO see where you are coming from, it is a lil unnerving to think of someone watching your every move to see if you're doing anything suspicious at all.

Never heard of this one. I'm curious to know if the murderer ever had an MRI when her obsession began since her husband claimed she was never like that before. Perhaps she could of had a brain injury, sometimes even small ones can make a profound difference, or maybe she might have a brain tumor that has contributed to her behavior. Something provoked a strong reaction of jealousy in her when before there was none or else he was covering up for her like he did when she attacked the victim in the parking lot. I've noticed that in some culture's, especially southern US people will leave out prevalent information trying to be polite and God fearing when in reality all they are doing is harming a situation.

It's really too bad Irvin wouldn't admit/didn't realize he didn't "have it handled". If she was that obsessed and harassing, something should have been done with/about her long before this. :/
@ChristinaChillis2 жыл бұрын
It probably was an effect of the medication/treatment she had been given. Medication is supposed to balance certain chemicals in your brain, and it probably enhanced her dopamine (just a guess) which caused her to become overly obsessed with Shirley. Her doctor probably misdiagnosed the medication or something and probably effected her brain in the wrong way.
@nellievaughn77552 жыл бұрын
This is a lie. Chemical imbalances aren't real. This isn't some deep web, conspiracy theorist, paranoid opinion. From the very beginning, the chemical imbalance theory, was just that. Psychiatry has a history of doing immoral and/or irresponsible things to attain legitimacy. In this case, "going to bed" with pharmaceutical companies who marketed medication as a cure for "chemical imbalances." Something that continued to be pushed until 2011, though occasionally you'll still come across some psychologists and psychiatrists who really don't want to let this die, despite, again, it being no more than a theory. One that has been thoroughly disproven.

I feel like others have to have said it already, but what you said about Lizzie Borden is mostly untrue and is taken from a skipping rhyme. There’s a lot of debate about who killed the Bordens, it’s not clear how many times they were struck but it was far fewer than 41, and it was her stepmother who was killed. Granted, she hated that stepmother, and Lizzie is extremely suspicious, but I don’t think she did it. The Lizzie Borden I’ve read about was far too lazy and selfish to axe murder anyone. Did she manipulate the maid into killing her parents? Some people think so!

Although Marlene is the horrible perpetrator, a lot has been said about her, but I'm also upset with Irwin. If he was going to stand by his crazy wife and willing to plead Shirley not to press charges, how about stay away from her completely knowing your crazy wife is obsessing over her. Like either divorce her or try to keep your marriage at bay and, you know, not dangerous to others. And then of course he was afraid for his life, not hers. I feel like he led Marlene to Shirley in a way, ignored her behavior and put Shirley's safety in jeopardy by letting her get away with the attack.

Hailey I am choosing to believe that you were joking about Lizzie Borden. Abby Borden was not hit 41 times with an ax, nor was Mr. Borden hit 42 times. Yes, both of their murders can still be classified as “overkill”. Also, even though most of us believe that Lizzie did commit the murders of her step-mother and father, she was found not guilty in a court of law in Fall River, Massachusetts. On another note, I am so proud of you Hailey. All of your hard work is really paying off! Congratulations on over 800 K subscribers!! That’s amazing. Thank you for giving a voice to those who cannot tell their own stories anymore.

The image of looking up from the phone to see a woman you know hates you holding a knife when you thought you were home alone… terrifying

Hailey, you should do a video on Lizzie Borden. She was acquitted, super fascinating case.

Oh that's so sad. Reminds me of a relative of mine who developed a form of schitzophrenia suddenly in her 40s. She didn't hurt anyone else but she ruined her relationship with paranoid fears and lost custody of her kids
