hello armien really nice 90s vinyl re issues. I think I have a couple of garbage cds in my collection but not any vinyl. I have the goo goo dolls dizzy up the girl on cd as well. I thought they were a decent 90s pop group and do enjoy this album. the cranberries I have on cassette so again no vinyl on any of these. I am mostly a 50s through 70s collector so much of this era I do have on vinyl. do not really have a lot of 90s stuff but I will be on the look out especially if I can come across it on original vinyl lps. thanks rob
@AudiophileLaws8 жыл бұрын
Hello Robert, good to hear from you! I am a big fan of the 90s since it is the time I grew up in but I also love the 60s and 70s. Every decade had its moments but to my mind the periode between 1967 and 1973 was the most intense and most innovative in the entire music history. Thanks for watching! All the best my friend :) Armien

Hi Armien. Another great 90s video. I received the regular version of the Garbage reissue as a christmas present. That packaging looks amazing though. Digging those Placebo and Foo Fighters albums too. Nice find of that Cranberries album.

90s vinyl can be quite expensive. Actually all the Guns and Roses albums are good. Live they weren't always so good. I saw them 3 times live and each time they were blown away. The first time I saw them The Cult were the opening band and they blew them away. Next time I saw them they opened for the Rolling Stones and they were blown away big time. The last time I saw them they played with Metallica and again they were blown away even though I think Guns and Roses' albums are better than Metallica.
@AudiophileLaws8 жыл бұрын
+Vinyl Richie oh yes! the 90s can be expensive indeed! I am just glad that there are so many nice reissues. so cool to hear that you saw GnR 3 times. Armien

Great scores man! Those 90's bands are gems on vinyl and you have added some absolute classic pieces to your collection. I so wish I would have been into vinyl in the 90s lol. The Garbage lps were great and I so want that Cranberries lp. One of my favorite bands from that time. I was so excited when I saw the Placebo albums reissued as wel. ...and I don't care what anyone says..the Goo Goo Dolls are great. I saw them in a concert once an it was pretty cool. A Boy Named Goo is probably my fav album by them, but Dizzy is awesome too.
@AudiophileLaws8 жыл бұрын
+mrhoffame Thanks for watching, Brandon! The 90s were such a nice decade! The reissue of the Cranberries got a repress. Maybe the quality is better now. Yes, I agree on the Placebo reissues. Still need to get a boy named Goo. Thanks again my friend! Would love to see you back on youtube! Armien

To be honest I am not reading any magazines but I know that there is a mag called Record Collector. Of course there is also the sterophile magazine. When it comes to websites I really like Analogplanet by Michael Fremer and Collen Murphys classic album sundays. Mostly I am active on facebook. There are various interesting record related groups. Nice video again ! About 90s, my favorite band by far is Jamiroquai, have you heard the MOV reissue of their first three albums, I just listened to Return Of The Space Cowboy and it sounds fantastic, I would love to hear a comparisons of those and the originals. One of the greatest record from the 90s is of course Michael Jackson Dangerous, the sound of the remastered reissue also on MOV is fantastic, I would love to have opinions on that
@AudiophileLaws8 жыл бұрын
+Pierre Pradat Hello Pierre, no I didn't listen to the MOV reissues of Jamiroquai yet but I would love to get them at some point. I have an og of MJ Dangerous. I am planing a video only about the year 1991 and of course it will be featured in it. Thanks for watching! Armien

Hey Armien I love that Garbage debut, didn't manage to get in quick enough to grab the boxset, but have the 2 disc version which sounds fantastic, still on the lookout for an original though. I also have the Twin Peaks soundtrack, like you i have been waiting for Death Waltz to release it, i think they are close, but they announced it nearly 2yrs ago now, how long does it really take?? That Cranberries album is kiiller too, would love to grab an original, like you i have love for the 90's, although the 80's were more prominent musically for me i think. Keep up the good work, always a joy to watch! Dean
@AudiophileLaws8 жыл бұрын
Hello Dean, I still had hopes that the Twin Peaks OST would have been on this years RSD list but it didn't show up. Thanks for watching and commenting my friend! Armien
@deaneverest8 жыл бұрын
Yes tell me about it, there is a Xui Xui release of the soundtrack, i've listened to the one track they have on Soundcloud which is Falling which doesn't sound too bad, ha ha

What you see as a record warp may actually be the slipmat on your turntable. My slipmat is elevated in one place and that causes the arm to move up and down on most records (usually standard non 180 gram pressings) Either you're really unlucky with getting warped LPs or it could be your slip mat. Good selection of 90s goodness. I said this in another comment on another video and I should get, Get Sublime's Self titled if you can and don't already have it. That's an amazing high quality pressing that actually surpasses the 20 year old CD. It's a quintessential 90 album.
@AudiophileLaws8 жыл бұрын
This time I have to disagree since I am having an acrylic platter without any slipmat. The pressing quality in these days is really poor. I still don't have any vinyl album by Sublime. Need to put them on my want list. Thanks for watching! Armien

Hi Armien, great 90s video! A really awesome Garbage-box! I bought this album on CD not too long a go. Shirley Manson really is a pack of energy! :) I've gotta admit that the song "Connected" by Stereo MCs is a really great and funky dancetrack. Very well produced! "Violator" is my favourite Depeche-album as well, which is a very tough choice to make since i haven't heard a bad album by them yet! This might be the best synthpop-album ever made in my opinion! Take care! :)
