Shoutout to German Santos for the recommendation. What are your thoughts about David Carr in Houston? God bless to you all, as I hope everyone has a great day.

Thank you! Thank you so much! I believe this expansion team for the Houston Texans should've become contenders throughout the playoffs during the beginning of the early 2000s.

Fabulous. Was hoping you dropped another video today. This was great. I like the Texans, and it looks like they have a really bright future with C.J. Stroud, and Demeco Ryans as head coach. A lot brighter than the David Carr, and Dom Capers years that's for sure.

Thank you so much once again for another enjoyable comment to read. DeMeco is awesome. I really like him. 2025 should be an enjoyable season for Texans fans. Thanks again.

Even though the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Carolina Panthers started competing in their Conference Championships throughout the playoffs in the NFL entering in their 2nd years of being the expansion franchises, I felt that bad for the Cleveland Browns and the Houston Texans that it took them too long to becoming a contender to compete in the playoffs as well. It took the Cleveland Browns 3 years(1999-2002) to compete at the NFL playoffs until they lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2002 with Kelly Holcomb as quarterback for the Browns. For the Houston Texans, it took them almost a decade as an expansion franchise to get into the playoffs as contenders for the SuperBowl in the future. I felt terrible for Quarterback David Carr taking so much hits based on the number of sacks, but if he would've had the right head coach and a very good offensive line with good players and a good offensive coordinator giving Carr the right mindset to play the pocket and by making decisions quickly to throw the football and developing his growth, his craft, and in his maturity, then he would've been a great quarterback to help lead the Texans to winning games and improving each winning record during the beginning after their inaugural expansion season in 2002. Let's not forget to mention other players who also contributed to the Houston Texans football franchise such quarterbacks in Tony Banks, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Case Keenum, TJ Yates, and Sage Rosenfels. I thought that Tony Banks was solid in my opinion. Wide Receivers in Andre Johnson, Stephen Bradford, and Kevin Walter. David Carr and the Houston Texans deserve so much more and lets not forget about Quarterback Matt Schaub and running backs Steve Slaton and Arian Foster as contributors to helping the team gain success throughout the playoffs in the years of 2010, 2011, and in 2012. I feel that the Houston Texans would've had the right management office to leading this franchise to its winning tradition season after their expansion in 2002 and the owner Bob McNair did a phenomenal job with faith, courage, ambition, and with great character. My condolences to him rest in peace. What happened to the Reliant Stadium during their beginning of this football franchise? Lets Go Texans!

Great video and choice. I always liked Carr and hoped for him to succeed. It sucks what happened to him with all the sacks and not really getting much more of a chance after that.

Once again, I enjoyed reading another comment from you. Yes, I too always liked Carr and then after HOU, we barely saw him. I was wrong about Carr and for this April, I hope to do a video on how I was wrong about Ryan Leaf. Thanks again for everything. You're the best.

I don't know why expansion football teams don't understand how to develop offensive linemen or at least go and pay for some good ones.

David carr just didn't have the pocket presence to be an nfl qb. Combined with the fact that the texans had no o-line, you got a qb with the same awareness as hugh millen. When you look at the sacks he took as a rookie, he held onto the ball for too long, and he just looked scared because he had no confidence in the team he was playing for. Compared to dan marino, the best qb at the quick release, marino looked confidence in his throws. He was willing to throw it deep, and take a chance. When carr threw, he almost always threw it short, because he was scared to make risks. Even when he ran, he seemed scared. Qbs should be confident and afraid of nothing. Carr got a brutal welcome to the nfl, and it scared him silly

Fireyninjadog coming up with the name Hugh Millen. I never expected a Hugh Millen reference in any of my comment sections. That's awesome. But anyways, I forgot to talk about the lack of pocket presence in the video in which I agree with you, going back to that Fresno St. bowl game with Michigan St. But anyways, I think your analysis is great and very fair. Great comment. Thanks again.

@@90sSportsNostalgiaWho is Hugh Millen? If you don't mind me asking!

@GermanSantos-xs3nu a qb, who was drafted by the Rams, the same year jim Everett got drafted. Millen was the patriots starter in 1991, and beat warren moon, and jim kelly. He finished his career as john elway's backup, and yes, he was the last pats qb before bledsoe
