Her Blondie album is still one of my favorites, the disco remix from the early 2000s of the album is clearly off the charts, driving around listening to it in the car at full volume is incredible on a good stereo system. She is one class act, a true trailblazer and actually a great human being, she has stood up for so many causes and used her celebrity to help, and at the same time wise and nobody’s fool. I met Debby once back in the 90's when she was doing jazz performances with the Jazz Passengers. I can tell you that she was every bit a kind and sweet soul as you see here. LEGEND. Down to earth, kind, sweet, cool and super talented. I loved Debbie in the 1980s movie HAIRSPRAY. She played a great part in that. My favourite Blondie track is 'In the Flesh' (or Shayla), or even Union City Blue. So many good songs! She also did singles too by herself (French Kissing in the USA!) :)
