It's not often you get to work with good friends like we do. These two removals were originally going to be mine alone but when Mr. Ed heard what I was planning he wanted in. Same thing with Pete. I was very glad to have good company both for the help as well as to make the morning infinitely more enjoyable.
The way this came about is that I was called by the SWAT commander to come out and pick up a honey bee swarm he had found on the back fence at the county jail. He was interested in watching as I collected the bees so I called him before I went. As we were picking up the swarm he showed a genuine interest in beekeeping. I sold him some basic equipment and set the bees up for him. He is now a beekeeper.
While I was catching the swarm we talked about the two colonies they had in the floor of their office buildings. It took a while t get these on the schedule between getting approval, getting signed on as a vendor for the county and then getting them on my schedule. In the end we got the bees, got paid and got a fun video out of it.

What you need is a second set of clothes with one inch cubic foam strips so if they sting they can not get to get too your skin. Works for sketters too

Asd Asd most of the time these blokes don't wear bee suits at all - the heat and sweat in that climate bothers them more than the stings do. If they had an air conditioned suit, then it might be different.

I got another swarm! In a trashcan. Hurricane Dorian made them seek shelter, it got windy here. Now they like the trashcan. They won't come out. I have two empty boxes beside them, they like the trashcan.

Joe Rowland should be easier to move them out of a trash can than a house wall or a hollow tree, though.

They are building comb on the side of the trash can.☹️☹️☹️. They are staying put for now so I will watch day by day, maybe at some point they will move on their own. I have lost both the swarms I captured this is the third. I will let them have their way..... For now.

@@tealkerberus748 I know why the first two, one swarmed away hive beetles were bad, SHB was responsible for the second too. In the second the hive beetles had diminished a very strong hive to oblivion. The second hive I found all my bees dead on my screen board. BUT, I would surely be interested in his opinion. I just do not seek advice here for that, he has a forum for that, 628DirtRooster.com. and in the past he has asked people go there for advice. I am just stubborn, I really want to do this by myself. It took me 50 years to get over my fear of bees. I Thank You Randy(Randy helped me overcome my fear)

There's also a list of people who do removals in your area, if I remember correctly, there are a few listed in your area that you could probably become friends with. You could probably hangout with them on a job, I'm sure they would enjoy the company and help.
