These videos just get better and better. I would definitely find a way to bring the equipment up there and do a 1-5 ton sample sample. That would go a long way with a JV if you show them exactly what's there with a little work.

if that exposure was more dark green i would say that looks like a spot i found that had free mill copper in it,, i had some nice siftings out of that, like a 5gal. bucket half full, and a sled full of 2 to 5 pound rocks, be blessed and safe

once you complete the grass roots, you should be able to gain interest of a junior mining company for a nice looking deposit such as this. This seems that it could be the ticket that pays for all other activities :)

@bobsquire86094 жыл бұрын
Why do you think you are close the source ? Pretty small gold
@911mining4 жыл бұрын
Gossan is called iron cap it's the oxidized weathered material above a deposit, in this case we are thinking a volcanic massive sulfide deposit. We have mapped the gossanous areas and exposure and know where they start and stop. We also know were there's gold in the creek running through the center and we know were it stops up creek. We have also found bedrock exposures in the creek which contain sulfides. Most deposits don't have massive nugget sized peices visible gold isn't usually visible till your at an ounce per ton. Also the gold we find is mostly wire gold indicating it hasn't travelled far.

Probably deep veins of iron and gold must be inside the mountain maybe running 5/600 meters down from the top.....
@cacogenicist4 жыл бұрын
Is that suggested by this sort of gossan cap?
@sidneyosborne9474 жыл бұрын
I think so; lots of weathering at that elevation...even the condition of the Logging road has deteriorated ( yes, it is an old road, we can't be sure if it was constructed like the newer roads.?). Some crew will have to open an adit...

Have you been panning this crumbly decayed rock matrix? Looks like you could pan tons of loose crumbly goo and come up with a sizable amount of free mill gold! ~( 'w')/
@robdedrick20524 жыл бұрын
Sorry another question . If all that rusty rock is oxidized . Is that a good stuff to try and Pan? What are Black Sands made of ? Do they Rust ?
@911mining4 жыл бұрын
Gossan is known as iron cap, basically the rocks have deteriorated so much due to the iron content. Iron cap is the surface exposure of a deposit. Probably an iron or massive sulfide type deposit. The fact we can find visible gold while panning shows there is free mill gold in the deposit and it may be a higher grade. Visible gold is usually not seen in deposits under an ounce or so per ton. Usually when weathering of unstable minerals happens it will leave behind any stable elements such as gold. Black sands are primarily magnetite which is basically iron indicating there's a heavy iron content with the gold and other sulfides.

How does solid rock deteriorate?
@911mining4 жыл бұрын
Sulfides are unstable generally chemical, mechanical weathering. Causes them to break down. Gossan is basically rock that's been so oxidized and deteriorated you can't determine what it is anymore. Another term is iron cap, its basically the rock above a deposit usually like a massive sulfide deposit.
