Good choice of road. Nice care. I did a road trip in my dads 997 cabrio from Beauceville to camp timberlane in Ontario, w/one sleep over . 1800km. In a 911 it is a real treat.

Glad to see you back in action, Jacob! Beautiful 993, beautiful landscape. Just bought a 1974 911 Targa in a rare Mexico Blue with 45K original miles and service documents dating back to 1975.

Beautiful county and nice backroads. My Mum spent a lot of summers in Shawville near Ottawa growing up. I visited that area a few years ago. I wished I had my 993 to drive those roads. Thanks for taking the time and effort to share your experience.

Nice!! Looking forward to part 2. I am sure the car enjoyed it as much as you. Burn off some carbon build up and water vapor in the gas. Plus you actually have a spare tire unlike most new cars. The 993 is a great car for a road trip IMHO.

Love your videos, please keep up the good work. Not a 911 owner as of yet but really striving to be part of the club! Your soundrtacks are killer as well. Any recommendations of who to look up for the tunes?

I had Bridgestone tires on my GTS at first, they do not last long at all like you said. You should get PS4S, worth it alone for how much quieter they are. Never mind the handling improvement.

Great to have you back on the tubes... great vlog as usual. Btw in UK we have pedals twisted to the left but so rarely drive my garage Queen I hardly notice 😂

50mph, I would have went crazy. So use to 65mph on the back roads and 82mph on the interstate.

Even my 991 Turbo S will get to me after a few hundred kilometers, the tire and engine noise can eventually get tiring. But the car is worth it.

This is my first video, I just subscribed to you, Franny and Heidi recommended your channel. Can I ask about your steering wheel my 1996 Carrera 993 has the fat ugly airbag steering wheel, can you please give me details on possibly upgrading to the steering wheel you have, and will changing the steering wheel lower the value of my car, or as long as I stay with something which was a factory option for the 993, would it actually increase the value of my car, if I go with a nicer wheel?

Need to invest in a cheap gps. Even a 50$ amazon one would be better than a map. Just for the piece of mind alone

I would have put a 'half bra' on, at a minimum. At least 1/3 the way up the 'trunk'. It's a stone chip magnet. (I've a 993 too!)

Don't laugh, but once a year I 'practice' changing a tire in my driveway.
