@@SeleckPlays thats not really special tool but more of a fancy disk detainer pick, nothing special about it apart from being a bit nicer for the hand, providing a bit more feedback and looking nice. @@SeleckPlays Well, my thought is that if you can open a lock the way LPL does in this video, or simply by raking which does not require skill, then anyone can open it. But if it requires single pin picking, then only skilled people can pick it. And I guess skilled people will be able to pick any lock I have and will ever have. So my thought is that if it requires single pin picking, then it is as safe as I can hope for it to be. It doesn't matter to me if LPL spends 10 seconds to single pin pick it, or if it takes him 30 seconds. And I am unlikely to buy any lock that LPL can't open in 30 seconds.

There are also much better locks that don't have as many easy exploits and would need to be either SPP-ed by a skilled picker or attacked with very loud power tools in a brute-force attack, making the likelihood of real-world attack much less likely. Don't be fooled by LPLs exceptional picking skills. Many locks that he picks on camera in 2 minutes might take a less skilled picker half an hour, if they can even get it open at all. That said, locks that can be easily shimmed, raked, or with low-skill exploits like this should be avoided at all costs.

Someone should make a voice activated lock and have his voice pretty recorded so that when he says "Lockpickinglawyer" it just surrenders

Lousy design. They should've added a few false gate cuts. Great video

Master Lock has a lot of money and has been in business for many years. How can they not have lock pickers working there? Or at least test with lock pickers and pay them to help? Like this guy on the video! It’s like a cyber security software company that’s 50 years old never hiring hackers. ?????
