917 Hp Foxbody Mustang Build & 50th Anniversary Shelby Super Snake

This video is about two amazing Mustangs, a 1991 Foxbody Mustang coupe with a mod motor built to 917 horsepower and a 2017 50th anniversary Shelby GT500 Super Snake owned by a guy named Art Mendoza. The Fox body Mustang is an amazing driver car with more modification ability than any other car on the planet and body styles as well. Ford produced the foxbody Mustang from 1979 until 1993 making over 2 million of them and it is the longest running body style in Mustang history. The coupe was always the least expensive and more base model in the beginning and now the enthusiasts are looking for clean coupe Foxbodies to make stock and modify. Before i got into the euro scene i was heavy into the fox bodies. Truthfully, still am. I absolutely love my 5 cylinder turbos and vr6 or 4.0 8s but the 5.0 foxbody..... Man, itll always hold a place in my heart. That 91 is so awesome. Well done!

I love your content! I'd take that Foxbody over the Super Snake all day. They just have a mystique about them. This car does have a very nice stance and wheel and tire package. I worked at a Ford dealership back in the day and these cars were very affordable.

Great channel brother I got a Foxbody that’s pretty sweet 1of 32 produced 88 LX convertible, medium shadow, blue metallic with a silver strip 30,000 miles, all stock except for 373, Flowmaster mufflers, and an AOD with 4R70W internals. I love this car I think I drive it once or twice a week in the summertime and that’s it just to keep everything moving Foxbody’s forever.

An ex in high school .. her dad had one of the last year shelby gt500 . The exhaust set off car alarms. It was blue with red stripe(he liked superman lol) . I still prefer the old school though.

If you're going to put 917 hp in a Fox, the first thing on the list is metal added to the floor (preferably through-the-floor connectors). Then you fix the suspension and add decent brakes. Only after that do you add power. The fluff (paint and interior) comes last.

Still needs rear box frame or sub frame connectors not to say you have to tub it but a good stout 4link with panhard bar would plant the rear tires.

Awesome foxbody and super snake is a rare stang! But im a fox guy all the way. I'm actually working on my 86 coupe mustang and i have own 2 1991 coupe. The coupe is my all time favorite mustang. Keep up the amazing videos and update on all thses beautiful mustang. Hopefully one day soon i can get my 86 coupe looking good again.

Why is the Super Snake for that year based off a GT and not a GT350? Flat plane crank with a whipple and 8500rpm....man. I just don't get it for the price. But as I person who owns a 780HP Oxford white Procharged 2020 GT, I agree with how gorgeous is looks and those blue stripes...wow. My 90LX Hatch fox was that grey with porno red interior. Bart used to work for Steeda back in the day, he did a lot of work on my 90LX. It got stolen and the dude outran the cops for 2 hours in it. So Bart made a ripper.

Not trying to be "that" guy but these were basically just factory modified gts in those years. There wasn't even a normal gt500 after 2014 till the 2020. The in between years Shelby just modified gts instead of gt500s and charged the same insane overpriced super snake pricing lol...I mean it's a badass looking car and it is rare but to me it's just not worth what they go for not even close. Even the super snakes based on actual gt500s are way overpriced for what you get.
