Beautiful cards, both of them. I love the patterned papers you used, it adds so much to the card. And the Christmas card turned out very elegant. I never would have thought to put a present or a tree on the top of the fireplace. I love it!! Really lovely, both of them.

Thank you so much! That makes me so happy! Gosh I know what you mean, I often forget the most basic words hahaha! But in this case, I think it was more to do with the fact that I've never had a fireplace, I don't even know anyone that has one and as such, I simply don't know the parts of it hahaha! Not even in my mother tongue. We might not even have a word for it because hearth (as some ladies suggested in the comments) literally translates to fireplace in Hungarian. So not sure :D

I love the look of this and... well, ALL of the Spellbinders kits this month. So useful and gorgeoous. Just for information... The piece that the sentiments sit on is the "hearth" (pronounced harth) of the fireplace. :-) The rack inside the firebox that the logs sit on is called the "grate".

I love what you did with both cards. When I saw the reveal video of this set, I was surprised at how small the flowers were. I also thought it was too bad they didn't give you the whole alphabet within in the sentiments so you could use them all year round. They got close though.

Thank you so much! While a whole alphabet is great because you can create whatever sentiment you like, I personally find it impractical because I absolutely hate diecutting and then lining up tiny, single letters haha! But to each their own! I get your point. The flowers are sized perfectly for the scene you can create - but yes, it's not so easy to work with them, especially if you have big hands like me LOL. I couldn't live without my tweezers!
