Another good episode gents. I've been using a nasal CPAP for 6+ years now and I use it every night, it's changed my life. Similar to what Matt said, I was falling asleep at work at 8am after sleeping a solid 7-8 hours and being in bed before 10pm, I genuinely thought I was ill. I went to my GP, did a sleep test and I was waking up 27 times an hour! Got the CPAP and now I'm sleeping right through the night and no snoring, completely silent. I'd encourage everyone to get one, they take a little while to get used to, but once that's passed you'll feel like you have so much more energy and your recovery will be vastly improved.

So many things to comment on. So I'll narrow it down. Specifically, that of Serge Nubret, in preparation for the 1975 Mr Olympia, as documented in the book, Pumping Iron. To paraphrase, 8 hours of training in 3 sessions, 9 pounds of meat, 400 grams of protein supplement, and 2 gallons of water... daily. Just sayin' wow‼️Great content, gents. Keep crushing it, and bringing it to us. Mad respect. 💯👍💪

I really like it when bodybuilders lose body mass as they age. They keep a certain shape and the ego goes away. They are comfortable with themselves and have nothing left to prove. I like Arnold's shape in ''Twins'' or ''Kindergarten Cop'' for example. I like the shape of Robby Robinson, the Black Prince, when we see him training with Mike O'Hearn. He's not what he used to be but he's still proud of who he is now and it shows in his demeanor. I'm 50 myself and it's so nice to no longer have an ego in the gym which I never really had anyway. You stay fit and you're at ease with yourself. I have the impression that some of the younger people envy us a little. Maintaining an ego is exhausting! If Jay loses another ten pounds but still stays fit, he will still be a champion in the eyes of others. He has the title of Mr. Olympia written in the lines of his face forever. You can see it in the way other athletes look at him in the gym.

I just got treated for sleep apnea this past June. I would wake up with severe pounding headaches, heart racing as if I was going to die. My AHI was over 100 times per hour. I gained a lot of weight, had no energy for the gym and life in general and I was constantly feeling tired throughout the day. I had one foot in the grave. Now I have my CPAP and my life has changed, my body is finally getting the rest it needs, I’m back in the gym, energized and moving forward with life. If anyone out there feels like they may have sleep apnea don’t wait, talk to your doctor cause it can be deadly.
