Hare Krishna. It's is explained in this shloka that a person who leaves all desires and is selfsatisfied is a stithpragya . But it seems difficult to give up desires but one who surrenders to Krishna and works for Krishna is always satisfied and can leave all mental concoction and become stith pragya This is the mantra for all time happiness.

The solution to get rid of desire is to engage in Krishna consciousness. The devotees have all good qualities of devas. The non devotees have no good qualities because they have taken shelter of mental concoctions. Happiness is not outside it is within us. The Secret of internal happiness is to be a eternal servant of Krishna and not the material senses. The internal happiness is found by performing bhakti.
