You should wire up a battery kill switch in your switch box..Its nice to be able to kill battery fast in case of electrical fire...I had it happen once and I had to unbuckle during the derby to reach the battery to yank the cable...also prevents dead battery while car is parked

i would put the fuel lines thru hd garden hose. especially on efi systems(high pressure). so if you have a line puncture it won't hit the fuel lines. Run the power wires thru old fuel hose to prevent wire chafing. DON'T USE PVC.... it breaks like glass.

are you allowed to weld a bar from your cage bar (lower pillar to pillar) center to the floor to stop it bowing after a few side hits. i would pad the wire you have from seat to pillar incase it comes off the pillar and twangs toward your arm/neck etc.

just a bit of advice.. never run the seat bar tight to the seat.. your back and kidneys will thank you.. trust me...
