Starting some major changes to my 93 foxbody
Just tearing down my 5.3 and sending to the machine shop

I'm a third generation Ford man, but I think the LS1 is a great motor. In your position, I'd do the same thing.

I love ford engines is well. But im building my 5th 5.4 4v for my turbo mustang! Im going to run it until it blows but im going to ls swap it after that

I own 3 notchback mustang's.one 347 dart shp block turbo car. One 331 stock block nitrous car. Also a 632 dart block nitrous motor. 2 nitrous kits. 10.5 tire 25.5 cert cage. And a 2002 Camaro ss. Ported heads ..intake cam and a tune. 2800 stall. Stainless slp headers. All the way back. Chevy motors are way cheaper to build. I have no problem putting a chevy in a Ford. It is your car. Let the haters hate. I say do not hate the player. Hate the game.

The first small block pushrod v8 was made by Chevy all others are copies. Btw did you ever complete the build?

Nostalgia don't count if your looking budget bang for your buck. I just acquire d my actual 8th fox , before the market got full of Ls' it made sense to rebuild 5oh, coyotes are EXPENSIVE A.F. !

I have a gen 3 block but I'm gonna get gen 4 rods do I need to balanced the crank from gen 3 to the gen 4 rods and Pistons and how much does it go for to balance thanks good vid bud

yes you need to balance the crank. Price can be as high as 300 for a good balnace

How do you tune the motors for boost? Factory unlocked ECU? Also does that 4l80 need a computer?

If you use a factory ecu use hptuners to flash a custom 2 or 3 bar speed density operating system and you can do a trans segment swap as well if the ecu isn't already for a 4l80e then tune it to your liking
