Is this deck still viable? I am loking for deck number 2 (first is Sif mage) and I got free Titanic trap that I thing is ok, but not the best. This one feels really good but I am not sure if it is still good for ranked. I saw it only once vs my mage and I got owned - like 25 damage in one turn. Not sure why it is not played more - maybe it is not that good - not sure...Was it nerfed in meantime?

Also, off topic; I wonder if we will get a dust refund for all warlock and neutral excavate cards, if the snake is going to be hotfixed!? I did pull a golden goblin miner so I would not be mad even the slightest.

@@alucard3317 any card that gets nerfed usually can be disenchanted for the full dust needed to craft that card, for generated cards, like the azerite snake, they usually do this for all cards that can generate it. So no direct refund, but increased disenchant value. So this is good if you have an additional copy of a card, or even more lucky, and probably more common for free 2 play folk, is a golden version of a nerfed card because thesy are so expensive to craft.

I wonder how good MarkMckz version would fare nowadays, using the parasite thar can be magnetite to beasts and Hodir, buffing the cleaver to 24 damage? Probably, like most of Marks decks, not too well, but who knows!?

Hodir doesn't feel needed when we have so many Handbuff synergies in Standard. I love the idea for memes/flavor, but overall, it doesn't seem necessary when this deck can win by turn 6/7 someone consistently.

Yeah this deck is brutal! 17-4 from D4 to legend. It's punishing players for playing creatures to the board and otherwise really hard to counter, so yeah, I agree, this deck is definitely going to get nerfed! Thanks for sharing

You forgot my reno hunter that went 5 to legend relatively easy so far winning within legend. Check it out hearthstone top decks: buts legend reno hunter. Favorable to cleave hunter imo

Don't think it's OP at all. It's easily played around if you know its win condition. Been playing similar decks since Always Another Jormungar was printed. After Jambre spread the word about Molinos deck the winrate is plummeting because it doesn't take the opponent by surprise anymore.

@@vientelaajihana no its because its bad, every deck now has a summon 5 mobs turn 5 or 6 and you get overwhelmed fast. Ogre rogue destroys it and dragon druid also and same for mining lock. Thats without counting paladin and control priest with the new legendary that summons 5 or 6 mobs at once. I didn't even come close to winning 1 single game.
