NMCA Racer Robin L. engine dyno featuring several Lunati internal engine components. "We are currently using a Lunati Custom 60 MM Solid Roller cam. We also are using Lunati Springs and Retainers. The crankshaft in the car is a Lunati 4" stroke with 2" rod journals". - Robin L.

+ 1 on the junkyard 4.8 turbo check it out 700hp on stock internals (not forged) ... I'm impressed with both ford and gm they both have some sick engines... take em to the streets and stop fighting on KZbin. :)

They're well in excess of 1200+hp with a Sheetmetal Intake Pair of APD 4150 Carbs (Dont need Dual Dominators to make 970hp that engine is over carbed and 2 Yr Old Technolgy) new Brodix Cyl. Head that while Tracy Dennis (Deceased) Who owned Sunset Racecraft in Tx. Made a CNC Program for the Brodix heads (Brodix aren't engine builders and pay engine builders to help design/Port the Cyl. Heads) Brodix then takes the Credit, But anyways this Cyl. Head flowed well in ex ESS of #360CFM, Single APD Gas Dominator,CNC'd 2 Piece Cast aluminum Intake 427 CI and it made over 1070hp Naturrly aspirated on a conservative Dyno (Depac), When I say Conservative I mean I can mention 4 Well Known engine builders that's Dynos read as much as 70hp higher even with the correct Info. Logged in and Correction is way off, LSX Block, GM Performance Pan, GM Performance Timing cover to accept a Ford MSD distributor, Callie's Crank, Callie's Rods, Diamond pistons, Bad Lil' Bitch and this engine was built clear back in 2,012, Technology advancement since then has greatly increased, Camshaft was Ground by Custom Cams out of Etta Mo., Can buy a Ready to bolt on CNC'd ($1300 Complete) Plane Jane LS Truck heads, Stock LS Block, Stock Rocker arms, Custom Ground Hydraulic Roller, Out of the box Edelbrock 4150 Intake, HP950 APD Alky Carb, GM Performance Oil pan, GM Performance timing cover, Callie's Compstar Crank, Callie's Rods, Wiseco pistons, Engine is only 11 to1 and make 670+HP and is totally maintenance free, Runs 9.60's in a 3,200lb Stock suspension other then set of Caltracs/Drag Radials, When car isn't bracket racing, Drain fuel cell put HP950 APD Gas Carburetor on it and Pumpgas in fuel cell, Drive it anywhere, Very budget minded Build off a Junkyard 6.0 Litre (The Cyl heads are the Tiny little Ports as I said found on truck 6.0 Litres) Heads can be purchased Completely CNC'd, Set up for Hyd. Roller and are ready to bolt on $1300 (No core charge) Through PBM, LSX block is the way to go, 4 additional Head bolts for each cyl. Head/A Rail can be added to both the OEM block and OEM heads (Welded on then CNC'd) But the LSX blocks have much sturdier cyl. Walls which increase ring seal and produce more power from deflection,

how about..lets talk engines instead? within our lifetimes, im (38) IE engines will probably be a thing of the past as I get to around 70-80 yr's of age I would have liked to be able to think I had as much fun as gain as much useful knowledge in that time, from my own experience other people's experience, helping,reading,etc.All this arguing and comments don't do 1 positive thing to help ANYONE learn anything! Cant people if they must just argue through private messaging here on YT? Dammit man!

okey guys lets just make this clear chevy nor ford got nothin on the buick. buick has 3.8 engines running 2000hp, 455's doing 7 sec 1/4 miles, and the 350 is a killer engine with loads of low end torque.

Let's see a Supra make that kind of horsepower, N/A! Oh wait... it needs 30+ pounds of boost from a turbo the size of a helicopter engine to do it...

Hey buddy ..listen if you are a ford guy then thats just great ..But I can assure you Yamaha had nothing whatsoever to do with the Development of Chevys Mighty Small block , I like how you completely overlook the fact that your comparing a 2 valve per Cly motor with one thats not and one with a quote "power adder" {super charger} with one thats NOT ..

Gm made that block to handle up to 2500 hp so that 930 is nothing.

I'm not trying to start anything I respect the LS series but to the guy talking junk about Ford there are plenty of Fords making 900+ hp and if you wanna go block strength and design MMR makes mod blocks capable of 2500hp and dont say anything about Fords needing FI cause the fastest LSXs are FI
