93001 at Shefield station

Rail operations group are running 93001 the first tri modal loco for passenger service. This footage is from Shefield station on the 28/5/2024

I think to replace the 67s on thunderbird duties. Moving stock around and broken down locos. That's just a rumour

I enjoyed the close-up shots. Good to see some of the small details. I don't know if the Rail Operations Group have any contracts lined up for them, but being tri-mode perhaps TfW could use them on their rakes of Mk. 4 coaches instead of the unreliable 67s? I must admit, though, that it upsets me to see the destruction of our own once successful loco building industry due to government dogma.

That middle rung on the footsteps is going to trap a few boots and cause accidents. Far too close to the bogie frame and insufficient clearance. .
