hey Bill just a note, I just opened two of those same exact brinks brass locks yesterday and they contain absolutely no security pins. All standard pins with very long springs.

Sure would like a pick set. My wife won't let me get one though. Says I'm stupid. I made a set and have picked 3 locks already. Really enjoy these videos. Keep em coming. Anyone have a set they don't use id be happy to pay for them. Even one of those clear locks 2ouod be nice to have. Just to see what I'm doing. Anyways, good job on the detailed instructions. that is an awesome kit, pretty too. I've got an octo rake and it's good to do euro locks I like the feel of it in my fingers, it's basically the sparrows worm rake on steroids haha. I started off with a dangerfield serenity kit adding single southord euros but my main picks I love to use are the sparrows euro hook and worm

I'm a big fan and i would love this kit. I've been looking for one that i can use on narrower keyways. What do you recommend for narrow keyways? 16 thousandths maybe? wafers act like pins in a lock but they're flat.. usually used in auto locks or furniture locks/desk locks. Look up a cam lock. It'll give you a good idea of how wafers work.

Keeping it at a specific price point probably. TOK bars from Sparrows are pretty cheap tho, so just add in a set. BTW, the prices you see on their website are in CANADIAN dollars, not US. In US, it is about 30% cheaper because the exchange rate is so much in our favor. The CAD is getting KILLED.

i recently ordered 2 TOK sets from sparrows via your recommendation. the $25 CAD price came out to $20 USD. i noticed they don't sell any kits that i actually want. smart marketing to move more product like leaving out key items from this kit.

You're giving them way too much credit. I met a couple of those guys. They're not that smart. If they left out the TOK tools it is because most locksmiths don't use them and want the price of the kits kept down. Pure economics. Some of the Sparrows kits are designed for LockSport and they DO come with TOK tools, like the vorax, creeper and dark shift.
